[Angelina cosplay] Even in reality, gotta go all out and rave hard at an Arknights DJ event - Image 1

To restore Angelina's styling this time, a lot of thought went into matching the wig and animal ears. The curls of the pink twin tails required repeated adjustments using a flat iron and setting spray to create layers so they looked natural and had some thickness without appearing stiff. For the pair of fox ears on top of the head, to ensure they wouldn't wobble or fall off while walking around the convention, I reinforced the base with many hidden snaps and bobby pins—they needed to look fluffy while withstanding the crowds. For the uniform, a crisp fabric was chosen; the gray-and-black contrasting design of the sailor collar is full of details, and the texture of the chest buttons tries its best to match the original work. Because the skirt hem is pleated, whether standing or sitting, attention needs to be paid to the flatness of the pleats to maintain a neat feel, and during storage, it's usually laid flat in a box. When taking mirror selfies, I specially chose a sideways akimbo angle, which not only displays the full length of the twin tails but also makes the clothing's tailoring lines more obvious, and using the phone's wide-angle end for a slightly low-angle shot makes the overall proportions look better. Speaking of raving at an Arknights DJ event, offline high-intensity walking and interaction are actually very physically demanding. As a coser, maintaining stamina while keeping in character makes shoe selection crucial. Although it can't be seen on camera, I chose platform shoes with very soft soles and good arch support, so staying at the venue all day wouldn't make my feet hurt unbearably. During character preparation, I tend to focus on the actual presented texture, such as the drape of the uniform and the gloss of the accessories, which directly affect the photo output in front of the lens. When taking photos, lighting is also very crucial; like this time taking indoor mirror selfies, I tried to let the light hit the highlight areas of the face and wig, avoiding shadows caused by direct overhead lighting, and slightly adjusted the contrast in post-processing to bring out the texture. Angelina has a special sense of ease and casualness, so when posing, I didn't over-exaggerate, but instead conveyed that confidence through simple body language, like placing one hand on the hip. As for the makeup part, to match the animal ears and pink hair, warm-toned eyeshadow was used to add a touch of innocence, while the eyeliner turned slightly upward to retain a bit of the little fox's cunning. Since the base makeup needs to stay on for a long time at the venue, a lot of setting spray was used to ensure it holds up under the lighting. Skin base was kept as translucent as possible, otherwise it would look heavy under high-definition lenses. Of course, participating in such large-scale events, regardless of the final outcome, seeing so many fellow fans on-site and feeling that passionate atmosphere together is a very happy thing in itself. Even though wearing this outfit might be a bit hot, the feeling of being fully immersed is truly wonderful.
