A lot of thought went into shooting the Genshin Impact Odette cosplay in this Blue and white dress. During the shoot, we prepared two distinct scenes: one featuring the darker, black reflective floor shown here, and another brighter setting decorated with abundant white flowers and greenery.

In the dark studio, because the plastic sheeting on the floor had intense reflections, even a slight misalignment in the lighting angles would distort both body shadows and the blue hues of the dress. Therefore, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted light positions and utilized reflectors to craft that crisp, chilly atmosphere.

Regarding posing, sitting sideways on the black circular podium was designed to better showcase the lines of my legs. The combination of the White tights cosplay and the Blue and white dress hem created fantastic texture along the boundary of highlights and shadows. Another pose involved raising one hand while looking into the camera; I attempted this pose many times just to capture the right emotional eye contact. The red roses serving as accents in the dark tone formed a striking color contrast against the blue and white outfit, lending it a rich narrative feel.

In the bright studio, I sat beside a white wrought-iron table adorned with white roses and candles, against a backdrop of plentiful white blossoms. Here, the costume appeared gentler; holding a white feather fan to subtly veil part of my face with a relaxed posture evoked a serene, tranquil mood.

The wig is light blue, requiring careful trimming for the bangs' curve, while the gem on the headpiece had to be secured right in the center. The purple contact lenses were especially striking in dim light, adding a sparkling highlight to the gaze. These accessory and prop details ultimately defined the finished aesthetic of this 2D character shoot.

Some ruffles on this outfit are quite intricate and required careful dressing so they wouldn't look messy. To preserve the styling's overall delicacy, I constantly checked whether the skirt hem was caught or flattened when posing. I also had to make sure the White tights cosplay didn't snag; leg movements during the shoot required meticulous control, as finding the right angles on the reflective floor took multiple tries to look flattering.

Experimenting with both scenes allowed the cool tones of the black reflective floor and the warm brightness of the flower studio to express different facets of the character's personality; I was very pleased with the outcome, and though the shoot was tiring, it was thoroughly rewarding.
