Today, I shot a Catgirl cosplay themed Sweet portrait in a Shanghai studio, focusing on a relaxed and cozy stay-at-home vibe. Slipping into an oversized black T-shirt printed with "Sleep Deprived", paired with twintails and Black stockings, and wearing Cat ears and a fluffy plush tail, I instantly transitioned into character. The lighting in a White studio portrait genuinely tests textures, but its clean, translucent quality excels at flattering delicate skin while making the color contrast between the model and snack props (instant noodles, potato chips) strikingly vivid.
For pose choreography, I intentionally incorporated many lived-in, everyday details—such as sitting cross-legged on the floor or leaning across a white prop cube, holding a slender wooden stick or a Pocky stick with a languid yet playful gaze. As the post description mentions, Pocky is indeed the ultimate prop for capturing a catgirl, which I felt deeply during the shoot.
