This Office attire custom design for Raiden Shogun is an aesthetic concept I nurtured in my mind for a long time. Today, I brought it into an all-white cyc studio to capture this bold collision between contemporary corporate chic and fantasy characterization. In assembling the wardrobe, the primary focus was on crisp authority and icy aloofness. The tailored black Suit is undeniably the soul of the look: structured shoulder pads sculpted a statuesque shoulder line, lending an imposing, upright silhouette. The crisp white dress shirt beneath was buttoned to the neck, revealing just a sliver of white cuffs at the wrists to forge a timeless monochromatic contrast.
The wig maintained her iconic violet-to-blue gradient, with the deep purple tips catching rich tonal dimension under the studio strobes. Pinned to the left side was a golden tassel hair accessory, preserving a delicate hint of Raiden Shogun's regal heritage. To lean into the corporate office aesthetic, I accessorized with wire-rimmed glasses; the subtle specular reflections off the lenses gave my gaze an extra edge of detached calculation. The makeup was calibrated accordingly, eschewing sugary colors in favor of a cool-toned lip and an upward winged eyeliner, set upon a porcelain matte base to keep intense studio lights from blowing out facial texture.
For props, I handled a matte black semi-automatic pistol. To achieve maximum physical tension, I sank into a one-knee kneeling stance: right leg bent forward for support, left knee anchored to the floor, torso tilted slightly forward. This pose rigorously tested core stability and leg alignment. The lower half paired a structured black mini skirt with semi-translucent Black stockings and glossy black patent-leather stilettos. The Black stockings formed an electric visual contrast against the seamless white infinity cove, while the needle-thin stiletto heels dramatically elongated the line of the legs.
Positioning the firearm demanded multiple micro-adjustments. My trigger finger rested deliberately along the frame outside the trigger guard, keeping wrists locked to project trained, tactical readiness. Eye contact had to be absolute—piercing the lens without an ounce of hesitation. The photographer constantly prompted subtle chin tilts and shoulder angles across the set to ensure the sharp edges of the Suit remained razor-sharp under key lighting. Though kneeling on the bare cyc floor bit into my knees, seeing the sleek contours sculpted by the suit and Black stockings on the tethered monitor made every bit of effort worthwhile.
The essence of this custom look explores how Raiden Shogun might exist if transplanted into a modern metropolis—shedding elaborate kimono layers to reconstruct her regal spirit through sleek tailoring and restrained minimalism. She could be a senior security operative or an executive steering empires from a skyscraper boardroom. The shoot flowed effortlessly; without background clutter, the pure white void directed all attention onto the silhouette and commanding presence. Reinterpreting her persona through this Office attire custom design proved to be an immensely gratifying creative venture.
