The wind by the sea was truly fierce. To shoot this The Shorekeeper cosplay outfit from Wuthering Waves, we purposely chose an expansive coastline. The garment features rich layering, starting with translucent white Stockings as the base, paired with a multi-layered, irregularly cut blue-and-white gradient tulle skirt. The cutout design and metallic decorative lines on the top demand a high degree of body conformity; before shooting, I spent a significant amount of time adjusting the star ornament on the chest and the thin arm straps to ensure they remained symmetrical in front of the lens.
The headpiece serves as the centerpiece of the styling, contoured like a glossy marine creature with sharp apical protrusions and blue-white alternating textures along the edges. Despite its potent visual impact, the ocean breeze required constant angle adjustments to capture the ideal curvature. The deep blue long streamer in my hand is another masterstroke; to let it unfold naturally in the wind, I experimented with varied stances and throwing motions, eventually freezing a deeply satisfying frame in the second sunset scene while pulling the streamer taut in profile.
Daytime lighting was abundant, ideal for revealing the garment's inherent pale blue hues, whereas evening backlighting lent a profound tranquility to the overall atmosphere. These two completely contrasting environments deepened my understanding of The Shorekeeper as a Role-playing game character. Moving across the sandy beach and concrete platforms in this attire was far from easy, especially with the delicate tulle hems prone to snagging on coral reefs, but seeing the delicate details of the blue butterfly accessories and fluttering streamers dancing in the wind made all the effort worthwhile. This Seaside location cosplay accumulated invaluable experience, particularly in mastering reflective fabrics and sheer tulle textures under natural light.
