This Pearl shoot actually made many new attempts in lighting control and color matching. The visual core of the entire feature set lies in how to truly convey that ethereal, dreamy feeling through the lens. To match the overall atmosphere, a large amount of blue, white, and purple floral arrangements were set up on site, paired with a pure white European-style iron art bench and a carved background, making the environment look as purely undisturbed as possible.

Let's talk about the makeup and styling this time. To restore the character's charm, I chose a purplish-red colored contact lens for the makeup, and used a bit of pinkish-purple blending for the eye makeup to minimize harsh lines. The wig is light gold with cyan-blue gradient highlights, and the hair ends need a lot of textured curling and styling to appear lighter in front of the lens. The layers of the clothing are very rich; the main body is pure white with asymmetrical cutting, spliced with bright blue glossy satin, and there are some floral and pearl detailed accessories at the waist. Because there are many clothing materials, especially chiffon and white tulle, special attention must be paid to the direction of the fabric when posing.

The photography equipment this time mainly used the SONY A7M5, paired with two lenses: the FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM and the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II. To achieve that diffused soft light effect, the photographer added a KENKO BLACK MIST NO.05 filter in front of the lens. This filter is really practical; it softens the highlights in the frame, making the originally sharp digital feel disappear and turning into light bleed filled with a dreamy atmosphere. If you also want to shoot a similar texture, you can try this black mist filter.

In terms of action expression, I tried kneeling and sitting postures. For the photos sitting on the bench, I intentionally adopted a crossed-leg posture, not only for the extension sense of the frame, but also to make the overall figure look slimmer and more elegant set off by the skirt hem. Wearing a pair of white pointy-toe slim-heel shoes can better flatter the muscle lines of the legs. Shooting while holding a staff tests wrist stability even more; you need to find the right force point to make the prop look easy to hold and full of magic. Actually, shooting this set of photos was quite physically demanding, but seeing the color tones and light-and-shadow details of the final photos, all fatigue was swept away. I might post some behind-the-scenes footage later, thank you all for watching.
