This photoshoot features the loungewear style of Unicorn from Azur Lane. The overall setting leans towards a lazy and cute vibe, with the outfit consisting of a white lace-trimmed camisole loungewear set with shorts, paired with white long stockings, and white garter bands tied around the legs. The wig features a purple-blue gradient color, styled with two small bun hairpieces on both sides of the head and neatly trimmed bangs. The makeup emphasizes pink blush under the eyes and on the cheeks, with slender fake eyelashes on the eyes and light pink lip gloss on the lips, presenting an overall healthy and vibrant state.
The shooting location was chosen as an indoor bedroom covered with white bedsheets, and the lighting setup leans towards high-key soft lighting. The main light source uses a continuous light with a softbox, coming from an oblique side, while a reflector was placed on the other side for fill light, making the skin texture captured relatively translucent, and the overall color tone of the frame appears clean and soft. Two plush toys were placed on the bed: a yellow round chick doll and a white unicorn doll, whose colors happened to echo the wig and the main color tone of the frame.
In terms of poses, to fit the loungewear theme, relatively relaxed postures were chosen as much as possible. For example, holding up a pillow with one hand, or sitting on the bed with knees curled up while hugging the unicorn doll. When shooting the pillow-holding action, both hands grip the edges of the pillowcase, arms stretch naturally upward, the body's center of gravity leans slightly backward, and the gaze looks straight at the camera lens. The photographer's candid capture speed was very fast, perfectly preserving the state of the hair falling down naturally. When sitting cross-legged and making cat-paw gestures, the hand posture needs to be softened, the back of the hands slightly turned outward, and the wrists relaxed without applying force, making it look more natural. The posture of lying on the bed with legs kicked backward is meant to showcase the lines of the white stockings while lowering the visual center of gravity to make the frame composition more compact.
While shooting this set of pictures, I kept adjusting my gaze and facial expressions. Although it's a loungewear theme, to ensure the success rate of the photos, the gaze shouldn't look too unfocused or exhausted. I kept reminding myself to tuck my chin in slightly, open my eyes a bit wider, and look for the focal point facing the camera. When communicating with the photographer, we tried many different camera angles and finally found that a slightly high-angle overhead shot best captured that relaxed atmosphere in the bedroom. The whole process mainly relied on natural candid shots without deliberately posing in particularly rigid postures, relying heavily on grasping the shutter's instant moment. Unicorn's temperament is gentle and well-behaved, so in terms of motion range and expression management, I tried to lean towards a soft direction as much as possible. The combination of white stockings and lace loungewear has a certain sense of visual layering, which, paired with the wrinkles of the bed, makes the overall picture look quite detailed. Thanks to the photographer for constantly finding angles and adjusting the light; I am very satisfied with the final photos, so I'm posting them to record this photoshoot.
