This time, I tried out Kayoko's office-style look from Blue Archive. A white shirt paired with a black tie and a pencil skirt, along with black tights and high heels, makes the overall visual very sharp and capable. The black pointed horns and white halo on the head are iconic elements of the character. I specially adjusted the color transition of the wig to make the black and white pieced parts look more natural.
During the shoot, a minimalist white background was used, accompanied by a computer and kraft paper file folders, simulating that state of processing documents in the office and occasionally spacing out. The pose of leaning on the desk in the first picture is actually meant to express the contrast of being "exhausted from work but still maintaining elegance." The gaze from the red eyes paired with a slightly upturned corner of the mouth should convey the character's calm yet slightly lazy traits. The subsequent photos switch to different sitting postures and document-holding poses, trying to present the entire set of images as a coherent office scene.
Softboxes were used for lighting this time, avoiding harsh shadows and rendering the skin tone evenly. There was no excessive skin smoothing in post-processing, preserving the original texture and quality of the skin to hopefully present a more authentic atmosphere. For cosplay, scene props and costume details are the soul. For example, that translucent-textured geometric halo and the metallic reflection of the tie clipโwhen these details are in place, the sense of the character becomes much stronger. I hope everyone can feel the charm of this character, and fellow fans are welcome to exchange thoughts on how to portray her in this 2D world.
