[Lumine Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Snezhnayan Part-Timer's White Thigh-Highs Maid Outfit Record

Working five jobs a day just to feed Paimon—this Snezhnayan maid outfit is my third look for work today.

From the visuals, the blue-and-white main palette perfectly captures that crisp chill blended with a touch of gentleness in the snow realm. The small white ruffled headpiece and over-the-elbow lace gloves give the whole look a delicate maid vibe. Although the main setting is supposed to be the snowfields of Snezhnaya, for this indoor shoot, I made specific adjustments to the white thigh-highs outfit and tights. Under the light and shadow, the white stockings not only look clean and sharp, but also flatter the leg lines beautifully.

Many people asked if I felt cold shooting this set. Compared to previous outdoor shoots in Mondstadt or Liyue, being indoors was certainly much more comfortable. But this workload truly embodied the concept of working five jobs a day—starting from morning makeup and styling, I had to carry a backpack filled with Paimon's food rations while rushing between different studios in high heels. To give this maid outfit more depth, the dark ribbon tie at the neckline visually echoes the light-blue bow at the waist. During the shoot, I tried various sitting poses: the first is a well-behaved side-sitting pose with legs together, the second is flashing a peace sign to the camera, and the third is slightly extending my right leg to show off the lightweight skirt and the beauty of the white stockings.

Whenever I shoot a Genshin Impact cosplay, I always try my best to bring the character's atmosphere into reality. Although Lumine is naturally quiet and reserved, in the godless, unforgiving snow country of Snezhnaya, I have to cheer up and work everywhere to survive and take care of Paimon. This maid outfit cosplay is actually my standard uniform while moonlighting at an aristocratic mansion in the snow realm. On the shoot day, I adjusted the blonde wig so it looked more natural under soft lighting, while covering part of my face with large flower stickers to keep a sense of mystery and make sharing my 2D daily life on social media convenient.

The Genshin Impact Creator Incentive Program gave me huge motivation this time, allowing me to focus more intently on polishing every single creation. In Genshin Impact, everyone is used to seeing Lumine wielding a sword in battle, but putting on this maid outfit brings out a much more grounded, everyday vibe. I especially love the light blue tulle outer layer of the skirt; when walking around, it feels like real snowflakes swirling around my feet. Of course, pairing white thigh-highs with a maid outfit is an absolute classic. Wearing it makes me feel the resilience of a traveler striving in a foreign land. During shoot breaks, I practically survived on snacks to keep up my energy, since Paimon was still waiting for my paycheck to go feast on delicious food.

In our 2D daily life, archiving each dedicated styling session is a meaningful way to record our journey. Behind every frame—whether dealing with intricate accessories or maintaining a taut posture—lies the cosplayer's personal persistence. I know those of you reading might be curious about the Snezhnayan snow realm backdrop. While this concept stems from yet-to-be-revealed chapters in the game, through the costume colors and design, I hope to offer you room for imagination. White and blue are the quintessential colors of the snow territory, while bows and ruffles soften the chilly tones so the overall look doesn't feel overly stiff.

No matter how tiring working five jobs today was, seeing these finished photos made everything feel worthwhile. While maid outfits look adorable, the shoulder straps and corset actually have to be cinched very tightly to create that upright silhouette shown in the photos. Still, wearing the white thigh-highs outfit while sitting on the smooth wooden floor to capture shots from various angles was fairly comfortable. I believe sharing daily-style cosplay like this is not just a showcase of my work, but also a tribute to the character and the game.

Looking back at these three photos, both composition and poses strive to showcase the different emotions of a part-timer in the snow realm. The well-behaved side sit in the first photo conveys a moment of peace, the peace sign in the second is a playful nod to the camera, and the extended right leg in the third photo perfectly exhibits the airy flow of the skirt. Flashing a "V" sign shows optimism toward life, while resting on the floor reflects physical exertion. Next time, if given the opportunity, I will probably challenge another style from Snezhnaya to save up more travel funds for Paimon.
