A lot of thought went into accessory selection for this black and gold Japanese-style outfit. The tri-color geometric black, white, and gold hair ornament at the top, paired with a black bow ribbon, neatly secured the light-colored updo hairstyle, with black ribbons flowing down both sides to add a touch of lightness and playfulness. A gold-rimmed circular pendant at the neck added a visual focal point to the plain white collar area. White ruffles and lace stitching were used extensively around the shoulders and cuffs, while the outer dark blue fabric was covered in exquisite gold cloud-and-water patterns and white family crest prints. These layered designs gave the outfit a sense of weight without looking bulky. I deliberately draped the broad dark cape over one side to reveal the white undergarment, making the visual look crisper.

While preparing this look, I considered how to break away from conventional character impressions and lean toward a cooler, more intimidating "Mafia heiress" style. The sitting pose and angle in Photo 1 were spontaneous. Since the indoor white wall background was a bit plain, I chose a minimal metal folding chair as a prop. Naturally lifting my legs revealed the white stockings and gold ankle ties, which, combined with the blue-soled platform geta sandals, looked casually confident with immense aura. To balance this relaxed sitting posture, black short gloves on both hands holding up a phone created a cool, distant vibe. The surrounding artificial white smoke effects were a stroke of genius, making the character feel enveloped in a dreamy night atmosphere.

The entire shoot tested photographic efficiency. Inside the compact indoor photo studio with ample light, the plush white rug created a stark contrast with the dark outfit, making the overall frame cleaner and the subject pop. Doing this style of Anime cosplay is more than just taking photos in costume; it's about immersing oneself in that innate aura. When striking dynamic, high-tension poses, the long katana prop was far from just a decoration—it carried a huge portion of the character's narrative language. Although these photos didn't deliberately showcase traditional elegance due to angles and postures, they instead conveyed my personal take: a slightly lazy, yet inwardly sharp aura.

Some friends asked if I worried people wouldn't buy into such an open interpretation of a classic Genshin Impact character, but I believe cosplay itself is an expression of personal aesthetics and re-creation. Compared to doing a 1:1 replica of official standing art poses, I prefer experimenting with unconventional movements and angles. For instance, leaning casually over the chair's edge in Photo 1 highlighted an overlooking, effortless composure. Adjusting poses, controlling smoke levels, and checking my expressions in the front-facing camera during the shoot made this immersive experience the most enjoyable part. Simultaneously, I tried to recreate handcrafted outfit details, like managing fabric folds and draping the cape to achieve the best sense of gravity.

Blending core character traits with realistic visual aesthetics often yields unexpectedly brilliant photoshoot results. Great photography relies not just on exquisite costumes, but on using camera language to convey emotion in that moment. I thoroughly enjoy deconstructing characters through props, settings, and movements. Finding indoor angles and using existing simple furniture to enrich the scene has always been a little pleasure of mine during shoots. After all, sometimes the most spontaneous state sparks the most extraordinary chemistry.
