The Blue Archive 3rd Anniversary Concert is set for August 8th at Feisheng Livehouse in Shanghai, and right after receiving the invitation, I immediately started prepping for this trip. To make even better memories on site, I tried out this summer swimsuit style outfit in advance. This photo set was shot last weekend on an outdoor lawn while taking advantage of the beautiful sunny weather.

Speaking of recreating this look, there were quite a few details to polish. First was the headpiece: blue-and-yellow flowers paired with a red bow. While seemingly simple, keeping colors vibrant under strong outdoor sunlight required selecting stiffer fabrics. For the wig, I chose long, sleek silver-white straight hair; the silkiness of the strands directly influences the clean feel of the overall styling. To complement the refreshing vibe, I leaned toward a clear summer makeup look, emphasizing cool-toned eyeshadow paired with light-colored contacts to bring out her ethereal quality.

The outfit is the core of this look—a midriff-baring top paired with a fluffy ruffled skirt in a striking pink-and-black contrast. The sleeves are detached sheer gauze sleeves; this material easily flutters in the outdoor wind. Although requiring constant angle adjustments during shooting, the captured flow fits the summer seaside atmosphere perfectly. Naturally, the most eye-catching feature remains the massive set of white feather wings on my back. To make them appear light rather than heavy, I adjusted the internal frame support. Moving around the lawn with them was certainly tricky, especially when sitting on that green high stool—balancing posture while managing the wings' perspective angle was a challenge, but thankfully the final shots turned out great.

For footwear, I chose platform high-heeled sandals with blue-and-white stripes, where the blue ankle bow echoes the garment straps perfectly. This combination elongates lower-body lines while making the full look feel complete. Truth be told, prior to this, I rarely had opportunities to try outdoor styling with such a strong Summer cosplay feel. From light selection to prop coordination, a lot of thought went into this shoot. The blue sign reading "DREAMS" on the ground also happened to match our theme—both its azure color palette and its dream-inspired meaning suited this outdoor setting beautifully.

Since I'll be attending Blue Archive's 3rd Anniversary Concert on August 8th, I naturally had to prepare thoroughly in the real world as well. The Livehouse venue this time is Feisheng Livehouse in Shanghai—an offline space packed with fantastic atmosphere—and I'm eagerly looking forward to gathering with everyone in a real live music environment. As a participant, I hope the character I bring to life brings everyone a pleasant surprise on site.

While gearing up and checking event details, I noticed ticket sales officially opened on May 29th and reservations are available on Damai. As a regular convention-goer and concert enthusiast, I know how fierce offline ticket sales can be, so I always prep early. Senseis have already filled out their leave requests; this is more than a music concert—it's a grand gathering for anime fans. For Blue Archive fans, celebrating the 3rd anniversary through a Live concert like this is undoubtedly a deeply memorable event.

To build hype for the concert, I specifically chose this Swimsuit cosplay look to convey a refreshing, vibrant energy to everyone. Although the lighting was intense during shooting—even backlit at times—I felt this bright, slightly overexposed outdoor aesthetic actually fit summer and the fiery, passionate atmosphere of a Livehouse venue. Being able to touch characters we love in reality through cosplay creates a truly special resonance.

There's still time before August 8th, but I can already imagine the electrifying energy on site. I wonder if I'll meet more fellow fans there, waving penlights together to the rhythm of the music. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this outdoor photo set prepared in advance; it records my effort for this event and preserves a special memory unique to this summer. Looking forward to meeting everyone in Shanghai, and hoping this 3rd Anniversary Concert delivers the ultimate audiovisual experience. See you at the venue!
