The Convention photos for Camille from Arknights: Endfield are finally here, and this styling under a Rainy night atmosphere carried such an extraordinary mood.

Let's start with the preparation for wardrobe and props. Camille's hair features a black base with vivid crimson dip-dyed streaks; to guarantee distinct dimension before the lens, I styled, trimmed, and texturized the wig countless times to nail that tousled yet razor-sharp look. The elf ears had ultra-thin tapered edges that melded seamlessly to the skin. The thorn halo overhead is among my absolute favorite designs: striving for that fluorescent, luminous glow, I experimented with multiple material formulas until achieving a deeply satisfying luster under studio and event lighting. In terms of apparel, the white ruffled shirt naturally exudes classical courtly elegance, layered with a cascading silver chain at the neckline to enrich fine detail. Wearing a distressed gray denim vest over it injected a dose of raw street edge and rebellion. The glossy crimson straps winding across the chest and arms served as the defining visual punch—strikingly vivid, catching brilliant specular highlights even in dim lighting. Cargo trousers on the lower half were accessorized with silver chains and mesh paneling, forging an aesthetic synthesis of techwear and wasteland grit. Black fingerless gloves and a choker further sharpened the character's icy, stoic demeanor.

Shooting took place during the convention photos session at Hypergryph Carnival. The rain-swept night elevated the shooting difficulty substantially, yet gifted us an utterly peerless atmosphere. Photographer Zhu.SAMA paid extraordinary attention to lighting, using a cool ambient tone as the base canvas while chiseling out the subject's silhouette with warm accents and cool white rim lights. Because the attire incorporates reflective red elements, sweeping beams generated breathtaking visual tension. We continuously adjusted poses while sheltering the cameras and strobes from downpours. Shooting amidst rain, the primary hurdle was maintaining natural ease while syncing with the flash burst rhythm to freeze descending raindrops in midair.

For pose choreography, I explored varied stances. One was a candid walking shot—hands buried in pockets with a downward gaze—evoking an effortless yet imposing gravity. There were also deep crouches and single-knee stances; because the cargo pants are cut loose with draped chains, crouching down better showcased the silhouette and tailored structure of the Techwear outfit. A three-quarter back glance was aimed at presenting the back cut of the vest and the wrapping sweep of the crimson straps from behind. To stay faithful to the grim lore, I exercised strict restraint over facial expressions, fixing my gaze beyond the lens to harmonize with the kinetic motion of falling rain, imbuing each frame with cinematic storytelling.

Convention photos do not afford endless redos like studio sessions; they demand instant immersion and rapid adaptation to the environment. Holding steady postures as cold raindrops peppered my skin and glossy straps tested immense patience. The experience was deeply rewarding, and capturing so many satisfying frames with the photographer within limited time was the greatest payoff for preparing this styling. I hope the nuances and mood of this look bring everyone a distinctive visual experience.
