I invested quite some thought into posing choreography for this set, balancing full costume visibility with natural fluid body posture. For instance, when crossing my legs, I made sure to smooth out fabric folds, keeping raised arms flowing naturally. Regarding the ensemble, the most time-consuming part was layering and structuring the wig. Pink hair can easily suffer from color shifts on camera, so I shot from various angles under top lights, side lights, and backlights to evaluate color performance. To closely match the character's original charm, I added subtle curls to the hair ends and let the bangs frame the cheeks naturally—both contouring the face and adding lively fluidity. For scene construction, we selected shoji doors and paper umbrellas as the main backdrop. The red-and-white printed oil-paper umbrella, paired with a wooden tea table, a black flower vase, plum blossom branches, and green grapes, instantly filled the tatami room with rich traditional ambiance. The core of this type of photography lies in crafting lighting atmosphere rather than simply piling up lavish props. During shooting, I guided the photographer to drop the camera angle slightly for a low-angle shot, elongating leg proportions while using the umbrella and doors in the background to frame the subject and concentrate visual focus. In capturing this character, prop details determine the overall texture. Wrap-around bindings replaced the original wrist structures for added visual depth. While the chest ornament is metallic, we gave it a matte finish for the shoot to prevent glare from stealing focus from the face.
