[Iuno cosplay] Wuthering Waves: Oracle Iuno's Gorgeous Record with Blue hair twin tails

Crafting the intricate details for this Iuno cosplay costume took considerable dedication. The outer coat is primarily crafted by splicing white fabric with metallic gold materials; the hollow star cutout on the chest and the metallic choker had to be firmly secured beforehand to prevent them from shifting during wide movements. The decorative waist buckle is accented with deep blue gemstones, creating a harmonious color echo with the character's Blue hair twin tails. Styling the wig into Blue hair twin tails required a generous amount of hairspray and styling products; the golden leaf headpiece and black-and-gold ribbons on top of the head were fastened with clips and strong-hold spray to ensure they wouldn't slide off when turning my head. To better align with the Oracle's identity in the original art from Wuthering Waves, I applied rich red eyeshadow for the eye makeup, paired with blue contact lenses, doing my best to project that aloof, ethereal demeanor before the lens.

The indoor lighting on shoot day was fairly harsh; to avoid excessive glare from the metallic elements, we experimented with numerous angles. For instance, on the vintage patterned sofa, the seated pose required keeping my back upright at all times while appearing effortlessly relaxed. The white straps wound around my legs loosened quite easily and needed readjusting after every sequence; though a bit tedious, the visual effect was impeccably faithful to the Game cosplay character design. There was also that shot taken through the window lattice—originally just a candid snap holding a water glass during a break, but with the glass refraction and warm lighting, it unexpectedly evoked an atmosphere blending everyday realism with whimsical fantasy. Thought went into pose design as well: reaching forward with one hand or gently caressing my cheek was meant to make the images feel more interactive.

The overarching goal of this photo set was not just to depict a flat Anime cosplay character, but a living, breathing presence. As a cosplayer, every portrayal is a reinterpretation of the character. I did my best to infuse storytelling into my gaze and body language, blending her cool serenity and determination into each frozen frame. The shooting process was lengthy, but immensely rewarding. This experience was not only a challenge in styling, but also a refinement of physical expression. From wearing the headpiece to every standing posture, the entire team's dedication was poured in. The entire shoot lasted several hours, continuously refining our condition throughout to ensure every detail could withstand scrutiny.
