The styling for this shoot was set as Columbina Cosplay, and I focused my core energy on the presentation of the eyes. Since the original character's eye details are very unique, I specially chose the Dimension Fantasy Colored Contacts. After putting them on, the light transmission and sense of depth in the pupils were indeed greatly enhanced. Coordinated with the subtle blending of the eye makeup, that quiet yet slightly detached temperament in the gaze emerged beautifully.

In terms of clothing, this white and blue off-the-shoulder dress really has a great texture. The crescent-shaped metal piece on the chest and the crisscross straps at the neck were all manually adjusted to ensure a visual extension of the collarbone and shoulder lines. Although the white wing-like headpiece on the head is made of lightweight material, securing its position took quite a lot of effort, both to guarantee an upright angle and to avoid blocking the light from above. The white crisscross straps on the arms and legs are the highlights of this styling. Adjusting their tightness slightly during the shoot can visually elongate the lines of the limbs.

For the scene, we set up a small indoor garden this time, piling up various colors of artificial flowers and vines, with a circular woven mat spread on the floor. A strawberry cake was placed nearby as a small prop, which matched the overall soft tones perfectly. For lighting, a single overhead light source was used to create that serene feeling of light cascading from above. At this time, the light-receiving surfaces of the face and shoulders became extremely clear, while the background plants sank into dark tones, making the main subject stand out even more.

During the shoot, I experimented with sitting and semi-kneeling postures, focusing on controlling the placement of my hands—such as lightly resting them on the collarbone or brushing over the straps on the legs—which was both natural and displayed the clothing details. The hand-lifting movement in the second photo was actually to simulate a summoning posture, while the sitting pose in the fourth photo attempted direct eye contact with the lens, which I personally feel better reflects the character's serenity. The side-facing backward glance in the sixth photo utilized side backlighting, making the red-and-purple gradient at the ends of the hair stand out exceptionally under the light.

Although the entire shooting process involved many props and accessories and was rather tedious to adjust, seeing that slightly dreamlike and mysterious aura completely restored in the final prints gave me quite a sense of achievement. Every cosplay project feels like a re-interpretation of the character's temperament, and this time as a sweet girl cosplay and an Anime cosplay was no exception.
