This time, I finally finished shooting this Pozëmka outfit smoothly. There are many things worth recording from the makeup and styling to the set design. The dress uses that light blue satin fabric with a glossy feel and great draping quality. When walking or sitting, the skirt hem can spread out naturally. Coupled with the gold square jacquard patterns and floral embroidery on the clothes, the texture under the sunlight is particularly amazing. To restore the hairstyle, I styled the pink wig in advance, and that pair of fluffy pink ears on top of the head is the soul of the entire collocation. The makeup focus was placed on the eye makeup, wearing pink contact lenses, with some fine glitter slightly added around the eye area for highlighting. Matched with blush and tender pink lipstick, the overall facial state appears quite soft. In terms of jewelry, layered necklaces of pearls, gold ornaments, and red/blue gems were worn around the neck, and golden hairpins and tassels were dotted in the hair. Although it's a bit tedious to wear, it really photographs well for selfies. The scene on the shooting day was a pre-arranged Japanese-style photoshoot studio, featuring wooden windows, a round moon gate background, and sheer curtains, with pink cherry blossom branches hanging all over the top and sides. Sitting barefoot on the wooden platform, I held quite a few props to match the atmosphere. When holding bamboo slips or an unfolded round fan, the actions should be as relaxed as possible without looking stiff. When half-covering the face with the round fan, the gaze should be softer. One set of actions involved holding a small white plush animal in my hands, and the fluffy texture unexpectedly harmonized wonderfully with my outfit. Also, when holding cherry blossom branches or a flute, I intentionally adjusted the position of my arms, letting the wide sleeve cuffs drop naturally. This not only showcased the purple floral patterns on the sleeve cuffs and hem, but also made the overall composition look more expansive. When shooting sitting postures, slightly bending the legs not only showcases the layers of the skirt hem, but also visually elongates the body shape. Because the ground was covered with green faux grass carpet, stepping barefoot on it without shoes, matched with the wooden platform and stone lantern, actually added a bit of casual and easy-going feeling. Actually, the weather was quite hot when shooting this set. Wearing so many layers plus complicated hair accessories made me sweat continuously, and I had to touch up my makeup several times in between. However, seeing the raw photos taken, I felt everything was worth it. The lighting of this scene is quite good, especially from some angles where the sunlight hits, both the facial contours and the costume texture can be displayed very well. The only slight regret was that the wig easily got messy during location shooting and needed constant attention to tidy up. The entire shooting process went very smoothly, and I also tried many different poses and angles. I love all these finally selected photos myself; they not only showcase the costume details, but also capture the atmosphere of this oriental fantasy style. Although the entire creative process was tiring, seeing the final photos made me very happy.
