This shoot for the Splendid music skin of Cheshire from Azur Lane was finally completed smoothly; a great deal of effort went into everything from costume preparation to studio selection. Shooting today at Yumengji Photography Studio with Lanlin behind the camera, I am thoroughly satisfied with the final results.

Choosing the Splendid music styling, the extensive deep navy satin material paired with glossy black textures created a truly distinctive feel. The dress incorporates cutouts and a deep V-neckline, accented with golden tassel pendants that instantly maximize luxurious glamour. The small yellow plush charm at the chest serves as an adorable finishing touch. The most fitting element for this look is undoubtedly the Black tights outfit featuring garter stockings and high heels: the visual impact of the lace trim combined with red-soled heels not only elongates the leg lines, but also channels the character's playful charm and seductive elegance.

The hairstyle recreated the grayish-black short bob with mint-green gradient highlights—casually textured yet naturally flattering—which, alongside red contact lenses, gave the eyes a vivid, striking presence. Paired with the black wide-brimmed hat featuring gold thread embroidery, an aura of Vintage Gothic style came to life immediately. The oversized black plush shawl worn over the shoulders added immense presence and regal weight to the silhouette, even if it felt a bit warm during studio takes.

The studio set was phenomenal, as Yumengji Photography Studio provided rich ambiance. Deep purple velvet sofas, a vintage grandfather clock, a brass gramophone, carved candelabras, and ornate European-patterned rugs aligned seamlessly with the cool, glamorous aesthetic of Cheshire's Splendid music attire. In such an environment, whether sitting on the sofa gently waving a folding fan or standing with the long circular-cutout cane, the frames felt substantial and deeply layered.

The photoshoot went smoothly thanks to Lanlin's high standards for lighting and framing. Utilizing warm candlelight as the primary key light alongside overhead studio fixtures brought out the unique sheen of the deep-toned satin, clearly revealing fabric weave and plush volume. In half-body shots like Photo 3, skillful foreground blur focused attention on facial features, body contours, and the red-soled heels, capturing an enticing, nuanced mood.

As the cosplayer, I maintained strict posture control—this attire demands poise, balancing relaxation without slouching. Subtle leg compression, pointed toes, and deliberate prop angles were tested repeatedly before the lens. The large folding fan framed the chin, while the cane provided ample room for creative stances. Bringing this Vintage Gothic style Cheshire Cosplay to life was a deeply rewarding creative journey.
