Cheshire from Azur Lane has always been a character I really wanted to try, and this time I finally presented this look completely. From the makeup to the costume, I tried my best to restore and polish every detail. The wig chosen is a style with grayish-blue streaks. To keep its shape outdoors, a lot of styling spray was used on the bangs, and the layering of the hair strands was combed for a long time, trying hard to make the streaked part look like a natural transition. The eye makeup is the focus of the whole facial restoration. To match the blue colored contact lenses, the eyeshadow used a red-pink base, combined with meticulous eyeliner to enlarge the eye contour. The lower eyelid is dotted with micro-shimmer, making the gaze look more vivid. In terms of base makeup, considering that the outdoor natural light is relatively harsh, special attention was paid to the use of contouring and highlighting to enhance the three-dimensional feel of the face. The lip color was chosen with a peach-orange tone, and the overall makeup leans toward a translucent feel. The craftsmanship details of this dress surprised me. The color blocking of dark blue and white, coupled with gold line embellishments, has a great texture. The hollow design on the chest is very special, but to maintain a good state during the shoot, I needed to pay attention to the fit of the clothes and the stretch angle of the limbs at any time. The dark blue satin bow and gold brooch are fixed at the neckline, and the white arm sleeves on the forearms also feature layered lace and straps, which took a lot of time to put on and wear. The huge bow hair accessory on top of the head is the highlight of the whole body; to keep it crisp, a skeletal support was made inside, and it definitely has some weight after wearing it for a long time. The shooting environment was chosen outdoors with greenery and wooden fences. Using a shallow depth of field to blur the background can just highlight the main outline of the figure. When shooting the wink expression, I tried to gently close one eye while keeping the facial muscles relaxed, and the finger movements also coordinated with the arc of the face. The character Cheshire has a bit of small sexiness and liveliness, so in posture, I chose to lean slightly to the side and lift one hand, allowing the body lines and clothing cut to be better displayed. The hand movements actually practiced for a long time; to make the bending arc of the fingers look natural and unpretentious, I would try different angles and cooperate with the lens to find the best expression. The greenery in the background provided a good color foil, avoiding the monotony of a pure color background. Although the whole process required constantly adjusting the details of the hair accessories and clothes, seeing the texture of the clothing and the translucency of the makeup under the natural light made me feel very satisfied. When shooting similar clothing, everyone must pay attention to the styling of the wig and the angle of the outdoor light, as these will directly affect the effect of the finished photos.
