This official set of photos featuring Two maids, Cheshire and Formidable from Azur Lane, shot together with my partner, is finally organized and out. Every aspect, from costume details to scene layouts, is worth recording with our full hearts.

The two maid outfits this time are the highlights. The skirt hems are adorned with dense black and white ruffles, and the corset design at the waist wonderfully emphasizes the sense of lines. Paired with a lace choker on the neck and white small wrist cuffs, the overall look is extraordinarily layered. For the headpieces, to fit the characters, my blue-cyan short hair was paired with the iconic pointed cat-ear hair accessory, while my partner's platinum long hair chose a gorgeous crown stacked with classically elegant pearls and mesh netting. These cool-toned hair colors complement the black and white maid outfits beautifully, appearing extraordinarily soft under the reflection of the vintage light source.

For the scene layout, we specifically chose a room with a rich European vintage style. The dark wood-grain piano and the antique cabinet with intricate patterns in the background established the texture of the frame. To break the monotony of the dark furniture, we decorated the surroundings with a large volume of hydrangeas, roses, and light-colored wild flower clusters, dominated by soft pink, blue, and white tones, creating a romantic atmosphere with an oil painting texture. During the photography process, the lighting was the biggest surprise—sunlight angled through the blinds, forming a distinct Tyndall light path in the air. This powerful backlight and side-backlight immensely enhanced the dreamy feel of the frame.

Shooting with two people heavily tests chemistry, but luckily we communicated about the poses in advance. Whether sitting side-by-side on a lace-covered daybed, using the foreground flowers to guide the viewer's gaze, or just casually sitting on the carpet, the photographer precisely captured that lazy elegance and exquisiteness of "maid supremacy." To make our expressions fit the frame better, we tried our best to maintain natural eye contact during interactions, ditching the stiffness of deliberate posing, so that every single frame looks like a frozen moment walking straight out of a story. While costumes, makeup, and props are the foundation, a great environment and lighting are the true keys to letting characters step out of the flat plane. Looking at this final set of vintage warm-toned photos, I still feel that the time spent on meticulous preparation and collaboration was entirely worth it for this piece of Portrait photography and Vintage portrait creation.
