While the set is still up, I wanted to quickly sort through and post a wave of behind-the-scenes cuts for this New Jersey cosplay Qipao outfit. The costume is from the brand Zhuazhua Box. The royal blue velvet texture and the black lace patchwork on the chest are incredibly elegant, and the gold frog fasteners at the neckline and waist are exquisitely detailed. The overall tailoring fits perfectly while carrying a hint of vintage charm.

During the shoot, there was actually a long white streamer, but to showcase the leg lines and shoe chain details, I temporarily left it off in these behind-the-scenes shots for a cleaner look. Sitting on this Chinese wooden drum stool, paired with the circular light ring behind and the warm yellow lantern glow, the smoke on set builds an incredible atmosphere, making the light and shadow layers more multi-dimensional.

The wig is long, straight blue hair, and I'm quite satisfied with the accuracy of those two iconic large ahoge on top of my head. This Qipao belongs to a modified style, which blends traditional elements with the playfulness of an anime character. It's much more flexible to move around in than I imagined and doesn't feel restrictive at all. Even though this is just a behind-the-scenes collection, the photographer's snapshot angles and light control were totally spot on. I've picked a few shots where I felt my condition was great to share. Every time I cosplay characters from Azur Lane, there's always a different surprise, and this experience has unlocked another style for me in this Cosplay sharing.
