Dressed in a meticulously coordinated black lace tube top and shorts set underneath a sweeping, sheer black tulle train edged with gold trim, I stood on the show floor of the Firefly ACG Expo. To flawlessly bring Azur Lane's Prinz Moritz to life, the fine details of this outfit were paramount. The red mini devil-wing headpieces were crafted from a rigid material that, paired with the gold forehead chain, retained a crisp three-dimensional form even when moving around. For the wig styling, I chose a jet-black base paired with an extensive layer of bright hot-pink inner highlights; matched with blunt bangs, it delivered a formidable visual impact.

For makeup, to harmonize with the character's persona, I wore vivid true-red contact lenses, intentionally deepened the reddish blending at the outer corners of the eyes to elongate the eye shape, and topped it with a rich, highly saturated crimson lip, leaning into an intense, anime-inspired aesthetic.

The most eye-catching part of this ensemble was undoubtedly the waist and midriff area. To prevent solid black from looking monotonous, I styled multiple metallic tassel waist chains accented with gold coins, alongside a gold choker with a red heart gem and a matching belt buckle. Walking around the convention floor, the delicate clinking of these metal accessories was charming, but they tangled very easily. Before every single shot, I had to spend quite some time untangling and smoothing each chain to ensure they draped naturally and contoured seamlessly along my waistline on camera.

The shoot was staged in a relatively open area of the venue, where the gray concrete flooring and glass curtain wall in the background created a cool-toned palette that cleanly accentuated the red and gold highlights of my look. The photographer was exceptionally skilled at capturing the texture of light. When posing, I utilized a black hard-shell suitcase as a support prop. During standing poses, I stretched my silhouette to let the sheer transparency of the tulle train show fully, while gently angling one leg forward so the clear high-heeled sandals visually elongated the leg line endlessly.

To add extra dynamism to the frames, I also brought along a few fun props. For example, hugging a round yellow plush doll or casually setting it on the suitcase helped soften the sharpness of the devilish motifs, introducing an endearing gap moe contrast. There was also a yellow zigzag-edged sign featuring colorful 3D letters spelling 'COOL'; holding it up or placing it across my lap infused the photos with playful, magazine-editorial flair.

While shooting seated on the suitcase, I explored various angles. Whether sitting sideways with crossed legs or extending both legs straight out and crossed at the ankles, I remained vigilant about keeping my back upright to ensure sleek, flattering lines across my torso. The intricate metal chains around my waist ended up creating stunning visual accents when seated, effortlessly guiding the viewer's gaze. Shooting in a dense, bustling public venue like a convention puts your ability to quickly lock into character under a sea of onlookers to the ultimate test. It meant constantly adjusting my center of gravity so the clear high heels caught the best refractive gleam under the lights, all while keeping my facial expressions strictly in check to project that subtly tsundere, supremely confident smirk. After spending a long time doing such high-intensity posing on the venue floor, my feet were definitely sore from walking in clear heels, but seeing the richly layered frames captured in the camera made every bit of effort worth it.
