I previewed this look earlier, and today with such great lighting, I finally shot the photos! The lace texture and the state of the White thigh-highs outfit under the sunlight were both ideal. Choosing a Convention outdoor photoshoot over studio shooting this time was precisely because I wanted to capture a more lively, everyday atmosphere.

As for the outfit, the skirt layers feature a rich array of white ruffles, with a small dark blue apron stitched at the waist edged with gold piping and accompanied by a gold chain. The huge pair of white beast ears on my head is super eye-catching, with two massive golden bells hanging on both sides. The wig was styled in a greyish-white gradient, with subtle lake-blue highlights in the bangs that appear delightfully translucent under the sun.

This time, it was paired with white thigh-high socks and black strap leather shoes, creating a refreshing visual color palette standing on the outdoor concrete ground. In photo three, I specifically lifted both sides of the skirt to showcase the inner layer's ruffled structure, as well as the matching proportions between the white thigh-highs and black shoes. To keep the whole Catgirl outfit from looking bulky in front of the lens, the upper body utilizes a cinched-waist design paired with a flared skirt, elongating the overall vertical lines.

During the shoot, we tried a few different poses. In photo one, holding the yellow plush prop while lifting one leg creates a lively feel, with a separate bell accessory on the ground just captured at the frame's edge. Photo two features raising both hands beside my ears in a cat claw pose, leaning a bit more on the cute side, which also tests arm line posture. Photo three is the classic skirt-lifting stance, which best showcases the skirt's flare and allows a clear view of the golden trim details on the apron. Throughout the shoot, I kept looking for natural light directions; under semi-backlight conditions, a beautiful rim light appears along the edge of the white thigh-highs, enhancing the photo's depth.

Since the two golden bells on the headpiece carry real weight and the cat ears are on the larger side, I had to keep my head up and chest out during the outdoor shoot to prevent the headpiece from tilting. To maintain the hair quality, I also had to keep my bangs from blowing out of place when winds picked up. Thankfully, the weather today was lovely—gentle, unharsh sunlight struck the white fabric to capture clear textural depth. The wig strands showed a subtle blue sheen under sunlight, serving as a clever visual memory point for this look.

Most of the costume's fabric consists of white cotton lace paneled with distressed dark blue denim, providing a certain structural stiffness during poses rather than collapsing limply—which is why lifting the skirt in photo three produced crisp, orderly pleat lines. The white thigh-highs chosen were a slightly thicker velvet material, which, beyond providing security against exposure, delivered a more even skin-tone appearance under outdoor natural light without overexposure translucency.

Regarding the petticoat, an adjustable fluffiness support structure was used inside, ensuring that when lifted in photo three, the outer white skirt wouldn't cling completely to the inside. The dark blue front apron rests right atop this volume, creating a wonderful 3D apron effect—an essential visual characteristic for this classic silhouette. Using a flat, limp underskirt would severely compromise that princess aesthetic.

On the photography side, my photographer friend captured snapshots with great precision, mainly using a large-aperture lens to blur out passersby, blue shade canopies, and glass curtain wall buildings behind me. Compared to pure indoor studio work, this natural light Convention outdoor photoshoot brings an extra touch of everyday authenticity. The yellow plushie from the prop bag and the extra bell on the ground were both put to good use without missing any details. Furthermore, the photographer understood the airy, lighthearted feel I wanted, avoiding rigid poses in favor of mostly candid and semi-candid snapshots.

Wearing such a heavy ruffled skirt actually isn't super convenient for moving around. To present full styling completeness, I consciously controlled my posture during walking and posing, ensuring all lace edges appeared naturally draped or fluttering in front of the lens. The reflective sheen of the White thigh-highs outfit in sunlight was also just right, which, combined with black shoes, distributed visual highlights across both headpiece and leg areas.

Today's overall makeup maintained a clean, fresh look. To complement this light-colored styling, I avoided heavy eyeshadows and selected a natural lip shade, aiming to recreate the character's light, airy, and cute disposition. The overall atmosphere of this Anime-style photography set feels wonderfully relaxed, free of forced rigidity or camera awkwardness.

Before the shoot, I actually did plenty of homework—such as the wearing angle of the beast ears and the hanging length of the bells—all factors directly impacting final image balance. On site, I repeatedly adjusted stray hair strands of the wig to ensure the bang curvature wouldn't cover my eyes, keeping eye makeup details fully visible. At the same time, maintaining uniform lace edge positioning at the top of the white thigh-highs ensured styling consistency whether from front, side, or slight squatting poses.

Sorting through this set of photos, I felt the costume elements coordinated together very harmoniously. From the white outer dress to the dark blue apron, down to the black borders, the colors are rich without looking messy. Shooting into the afternoon that day offered perfect lighting, which fit this outfit wonderfully for brilliant photos.

That wraps up this brief log for this look! After wrapping up the shoot, I'm ready to grab some ice cream—today's work has officially come to a perfect close.
