Getting straight to the point: taking advantage of the weekend, I headed to the Guangzhou JoJo pop-up store to complete my Trish Una Roleplay. The preparation timeline for this outfit was quite tight, but fortunately, the final fidelity turned out well. Trimming and styling the pink wig took considerable effort—the layers along the bangs and sides had to frame my cheeks just right. The combat suit jacket features a burgundy and light pink color-blocked design accented with bright yellow piping, creating a bold contrast, with the geometric choker at the collar serving as another key highlight. The lower half features a black long skirt patterned with pink and yellow mathematical symbols (+, -, ×, ÷), delivering a strong visual impact that, when paired with dark brown mid-calf leather boots, effortlessly anchors the character's signature silhouette and pose.
Upon arriving at the venue, my eyes were immediately drawn to the photo frame zone with pink diamond-patterned walls—the framing possibilities were fantastic! I took a few shots seated on a white chair with a black cushion, which beautifully highlighted the leg extension and boot texture. Then I turned toward the arched display board, where the glass-textured illustration provided great light transmission. Pairing this with a slightly languid posture revealed a hint of my waistline, perfectly matching the character's subtle, effortless confidence.
The shopping mall atrium was very spacious. Carrying that translucent pink geometric-patterned handbag with huge horse illustrations and 3D English letter displays behind me made for an immersive check-in experience quite different from a small anime convention. The venue lighting and installations added so much flair to the costume. I also bumped into fellow JoJo's Bizarre Adventure cosplayers at the pop-up store and took photos together—everyone's character fidelity was top-notch, making it a wonderful surprise moment of the day.
Organizing this set of photos, I felt this Guangzhou trip yielded many satisfying results. The garment's weight, material, and fit during motion were quite challenging, so many poses and postures were finely adjusted before being captured on camera. This setting allowed me to bring out Trish's unique vibe, making the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. Wrapping up in front of the giant purple JOJO letters, the overall event atmosphere was maxed out—a truly fulfilling cosplay outing.
