This shoot specifically selected this pure white off-the-shoulder tulle dress to interpret this look of Hatsune Miku. Because we wanted that lightweight and translucent visual experience, we did a lot of subtraction on clothing materials and accessories, striving to recreate that exquisite, small, and ethereal state of Hatsune Miku's fufu styling.

First, let's talk about the design considerations of this outfit. The pure white main color heavily tests the luster and drape of the fabric. We chose an inner lining with a slight pearlescent feel, paired with fine tulle on the outer layer, which instantly brought out a sense of layering. The detachable lace halter design at the neckline and the pearl strings embellished on the chest can beautifully modify the neck and collarbone lines, making the silhouette look more slender and delicate. The ruffled sleeves on the arms are a key detail; they can both increase the gorgeousness of the overall styling and provide a lazy yet elegant body extension during photography.

Regarding the hairstyle, to fit the styling sense in the setup, the mint green twin tails chose a longer style, and the hair color made a light pink gradient transition from the top to the hair tips, precisely echoing that pair of semi-transparent pink bowknots on the hairpins. To maintain fluffiness in front of the lens, the hair tips were not intentionally combed very neatly, but retained some natural hair strand layers. When the wind blows or when moving, the blending of hair colors appears even more agile. Those sparkling tiny hair accessories weren't added randomly, but embellished along the hair part lines, capturing bits of reflection under soft light, which was a huge bonus.

The pairing of props chose white lilies and blue butterflies. Within the framework of this white tulle dress style and mint hair color, these two items can naturally hold up the color balance of the frame. The pure white of the lily flowers won't steal the color focus of the hair, but instead increases the visual "breathing space" of the frame, generating a life force close to nature. The butterfly accessory was clipped near the cheek to form a slight interaction state, guiding attention to the face while adding a hint of playfulness and dynamic movement to the static photos.

The setup of the shooting scene was actually very simple, using large areas of blue and white lightweight gauze curtains to create mismatched layers of height indoors. This simple soft-furnishing set design is easier to control lighting than hard scenes, allowing the soft light to wrap the entire body without dead angles. We intentionally avoided direct strong flashes from the front during lighting setup, but utilized a large softbox combined with side-backlight to strike a translucent outline along the hair edges while dimming cluttered elements in the background, making the figure subject stand out exceptionally.

For the contact lenses color, I selected a light blue that highly matches the wig. The eye makeup used earthy tones as a base, overlaid with a bit of slight glitter, and finally paired with a hydrated nude lip makeup. The overall makeup pursued that water-gloss feel and transparency without using too heavy eyeliner or dark eyeshadow to emphasize contours, which could better fit the "ethereal" and "sweet" nature of this look for an ACG sweet girl.

Many movements in this photoset didn't apply a fixed template, but tried to let the limbs relax as much as possible to have natural interactions with the bouquet at hand. For instance, holding a lily flower or pinching a small butterfly with fingertips—these small actions actually play a decisive role in displaying temperament. If I found my shoulders too shrugged or the face side angle wrong in the frame, I adjusted my posture immediately, continuously searching for the best angle for light to hit my face. Although we didn't go outdoors, utilizing a combination of gauze curtains, tulle dresses, and some natural elements still achieved a very translucent visual effect, perfectly fitting the expected sweet girl style, and the overall shooting process felt extremely comfortable. This contributes to a beautiful piece of dreamy photography.
