[Hatsune Miku cosplay] Rabbit Hole Nurse's Exclusive Ward, Don't Want to Be Discharged Today Either

This Rabbit Hole Nurse outfit was actually placed on my shooting plan a long time ago. This week, I finally finished shooting this work, and the early preparation combined with the studio shoot indeed put in quite a bit of energy.

Let's first talk about the styling design this time. The white base nurse dress of the costume main body is paired with pink buttons and a pink gradient blending at the skirt hem, making the overall visual look very clean. I usually shoot quite a lot of nurse-themed clothes, but this set fits the body lines better in its tailoring, making it easier to showcase curves in a sitting or lying posture. To echo the concept of "Rabbit Hole," besides the iconic nurse cap and pink cross logo, the hair accessories part also opted for a light blue to light pink gradient twin-tails wig. The pink heart-shaped hairpins and black crisscross hairpins clipped between the hair strands appear highly color-saturated under the cool light atmosphere of the pure white ward.

The preparation for props was relatively ample. The stethoscope with a pink chestpiece and a pink tube is one of the expression highlights of this look, matching the pink buttons of the costume beautifully. The shooting scene also featured an IV stand and transparent medical hanging bottles, which, paired with the white medical curtains in the background and the hanging red ribbons, instantly maximized the slightly dark and dreamlike ward atmosphere. Speaking of which, mentioning lines like "You still don't want to be discharged, do you?" is inherently part of the slightly dark and playful elements within this costume setting; during the shoot, my emotional state also had to remain as relaxed and slightly playful as possible.

Regarding the shooting composition and perspective, the photographer also helped me try a few different camera positions. Personally, I prefer the sitting pose shots because this posture can completely display the nurse uniform and the blue-pink hair color, while naturally presenting the leg lines of the black tights outfit and the white thick-heeled high shoes. The black stockings under the contrast of the relatively cool-toned purple-blue ambient light and pure white bedsheets became very soft in texture without looking too dull. Indeed, giving a little 2D shock, this kind of stocking outfit is often a highly popular element in medical-themed cosplay.

Speaking further on the lighting this time, the main light source was cast very cleanly, retaining some shadows to highlight the three-dimensional feel of the facial features and limbs. The blue-purple ambient light let the white nurse uniform carry a layer of dreamlike tone, avoiding the issue of pure white turning out dead white without layers. Actually, when shooting this kind of cosplay work with medical elements, the most needed control in lighting is the shaping of the ambient feel; too bright will look lively, while too dark will lose the costume's own cool, clear cuteness. I feel the light and shadow effects this time perfectly matched the initial intention of this look.

Taking the entire process down, from costume coordination to prop setting, and then to light debugging, every step tested the early coordination quite a bit. However, I feel that so-called cosplay is not as simple as putting on this outfit and clicking the shutter; it is more like a three-dimensional recreation of character settings and visual aesthetics. When you sit on a bed spread with white sheets, holding a pink stethoscope, and coordinating with these red ribbons and hanging bottles, you can truly experience the immersion that the atmosphere brings to a person. Slumping by the bedside to organize props after the shoot, that minor fatigue is actually a form of enjoyment as well.

The photo results for this Rabbit Hole Nurse set this time are quite satisfying. From the perspective of Anime-style photography, the completion of the studio shoot is there, and my personal expressiveness is also in place. As a hearty cosplay practice, recording it down is highly meaningful, and it finally fulfills a long-cherished styling plan.
