The setup at this CICF Expo was actually perfect for shooting a style with e-sports elements. Compared to hardcore mecha or heavy gear, I chose a sweeter, more casual path this time. The overall look uses white and light blue as the main colors. The twin-tails with braids added layers to the hair, and the cat-ear headband on both sides just lifted the cuteness of the hair accessories. The round-frame glasses were actually the finishing touch, adding a touch of intellectuality to the originally complex hairstyle and skirt.

This white top and light blue ruffled layered skirt, paired with a white thigh-highs outfit, made the overall visual effect look clean and bright. Many people dress very extravagantly at conventions, but I prefer to use this refreshing color scheme to highlight the relaxed atmosphere of an e-sports room.

The props in hand were the core of today. Honestly, I don't really like hard firearm props; instead, this graphics card packaging box with anime patterns and the rounded blue-and-pink game controller provided a better sense of scene. Especially that graphics card packaging, matching the pink-and-white gaming chair and the black-and-white combo on the desk, made the entire color system much more unified.

The coordination with the photographer at the convention was also very smooth. A posture like sitting on a gaming chair as shown in the picture actually heavily tests the camera angle. A slightly low-angle or eye-level perspective not only makes the leg lines look longer, but the texture of the white stockings also reflects a nice gloss under the lights. The lighting at the venue that day was actually slightly blue-toned, which unexpectedly fit the white-and-blue skirt theme perfectly, making it an excellent experience for cosplay photography.

We shot about three or four different poses, some holding the controller, and some holding the graphics card box. I was most satisfied with the set where I sat down. Sinking entirely into the chair made the posture feel very relaxed instead of stiff. Actions like reaching out or resting my chin on my hand, paired with a slight head tilt, enhanced the character's approachability quite a bit.

In fact, when attending such a large-scale convention, besides preparing the props, you also need to take care of your physical stamina. Fortunately, the layout of the venue this time was relatively spacious, and the aisles weren't too crowded, giving me time to strike several angles in front of the e-sports desk. To keep the shoes coordinated, I specially paired them with these white rabbit clogs, which connected with the overall look and didn't tire my feet while walking around the venue.

This makeup and styling actually heavily test the cleanliness of the base makeup. Because the overall tone is on the lighter side, if the base isn't clear enough, it can easily look messy. For the wig part, I trimmed the ends in advance so that it falls naturally in front of me. This way, when sitting, the hair just happens to cover part of the body outline, making the overall look softer.

Compared to hardcore cosplay that purely replicates a set character, this e-sports style is a relatively free theme. As long as the colors match harmoniously, your personal style can be vividly displayed. I'm very satisfied with this photo drop; the lighting, outfit, makeup, and props coordinated just right, and I hope this piece of cosplay photography gives everyone some inspiration for their outfits.
