This time shooting Navia at Foshan Louvre was truly a mix of pain and pleasure. Needless to say, the architectural style of the Louvre and Navia's European-style gown are an absolute perfect match; the marble columns, arches, and domes can become excellent shooting spots anywhere. However, this shoot was indeed a bit rushed, and we weren't fully prepared with lighting. As a result, the skin tone in the original photos looks a bit yellowish due to the ambient light, especially in the close-up of Photo 1, where the yellow tones blended with warm floor lamps almost washed out the character's makeup.

During post-processing, a lot of effort was spent on color correction to restore Navia's original fair and translucent skin texture as much as possible, while retaining the vintage warm atmosphere of the building itself. Photo 3 is a wide-angle composition that I am personally quite satisfied with. It uses the mosaic patterns on the floor as guiding lines to bring out the depth of both the character and the dome, delivering a great visual impact.

The details of the costume and props this time have a high accuracy level; the gem-adorned top hat and the helm decoration at the waist remain very prominent even in dim light, and the umbrella-holding pose perfectly echoes the combat temperament of her character skills. However, due to the complex lighting on-site, to ensure the character stands out, most of the photos adopted a relatively conservative front-lighting position, which led to a lack of rich layers in the shadows; I should definitely bring more fill-light equipment for my Nikon setup in the future. Thanks to the photographer NightDiva for the patient guidance, finding angles in such a massive space is truly not easy. The model, SuiSui, also worked very hard, repeatedly adjusting positions while wearing a thick wig and a complex petticoat just to present Navia's elegant yet dashing side. Although the lack of preparation left a little regret, the final results are still delightful. This is a cosplay photography experience highly worth recording, and I hope to challenge more complex scenes with a more complete plan in the future.
