This time I went to the offline event at Guangzhou's Chubby Dragon Paradise and fully experienced the joy of exchanging spatulas.

As a player of Golden Spatula, this offline event is something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Before coming, my heart was actually pounding. Although the event lasts for days, I stayed up working like crazy from last night until 4 AM just to make the gear for this cosplay even more perfect. I named it the "Crude Golden Key · Magical Girl Wand · Golden Spatula." Don't be fooled by its weathered and simple appearance—it is the fruit of my labor, polished scrape by scrape. Even though it's an event-exclusive special colorway and gear, I still hoped to welcome this offline carnival with the most accurate recreation possible.

After arriving on-site, I found that the weather in Guangzhou was indeed somewhat unpredictable. The outdoor ground after the rain was a bit slippery, but it absolutely couldn't hold back the burning atmosphere and the enthusiasm of the players. Wearing that skirt with purple and white as the main tones, topped with huge blue curls and hairpieces, my movement was a bit restricted, but standing on the stage and the photo-op area provided an incredibly strong sense of immersion. Especially when holding this golden spatula and the intricate wand prop, I felt as if I truly were that magical girl drifting across the chessboard.

The various offline booths were incredibly enthusiastic, and the entire "Chubby Dragon Paradise" was filled with the fun of interactive mini-games. I took the gear I made to participate in the "Spatula for Spatula" activity, and it actually came in handy! The booth owners and staff were extremely cooperative, the spectating players greeted me very amiably, and someone even handed me a super cute white-bearded plush spatula doll, which I happily posed with for a photo. The organizers prepared tons of exquisite merch, and I picked up quite a few items close to my heart to add to my collection. What surprised me even more was that a lot of freebies were distributed on-site; it felt like what I scooped up with my spatula wasn't just the redemption eligibility for the event, but everyone's overflowing goodwill and enthusiasm.

As a coser, portraying this kind of fantasy-styled game character is quite challenging, especially the details of this costume and the management of the wig, which look exceptionally distinct in texture under outdoor natural light. I really love the moment in the photo where I extend the golden spatula forward; the camera lens perspective presents both the character's state and the prop in hand together. In large-scale offline events like the Guangzhou Anime Convention, being able to do fan-cosplays and play interactive games together with fellow enthusiasts truly fills me with creative motivation.

Although staying up all night the previous evening to prepare was truly exhausting, seeing so many friends offline who love this game and love this character makes me feel that the hard work was entirely worth it. This offline trip to Guangzhou's Chubby Dragon Paradise, whether in terms of the weather temperature or the warmth of the players, made me feel incredibly heartened. Even though the weather was a bit rainy, players were still drifting through the venue under umbrellas. I hope next time I’ll have the opportunity to bring even more refined props and styling to participate in such a loving and fun offline market event, continuing to explore those vibrant and colorful elements in the game as part of my casual cosplay journey.
