[Tanga Ibuki cosplay] Jiaxing anime convention photos, documenting a well-behaved character's convention moments

The Jiaxing anime convention photos from my Tanga Ibuki cosplay at the 6.1 Jiaxing bao event are finally sorted out. The lighting and setup at the shoot venue worked in perfect harmony to capture the character's lively dynamism. For this look, I used a blonde long low-twintail wig with black lace bows tied at the ends, paired with her iconic elf ears and the orange halo effect overhead, concentrating the visual focal point around the head area.

Moving on to the Anime cosplay outfit coordination: the upper body features a white collared shirt beneath a tailored black long jacket. The jacket edges are accented with crisp white piping, while the cuffs feature bright red cinched sleeve-ends adorned with gold buttons and a delicate gold chain detail. A slender red tie rests at the collar. The dark blue pleated skirt below pairs seamlessly with this uniform, creating a strong school style impression. Perhaps the most eye-catching element is the pair of round-toe yellow short boots on my feet—the bright yellow breaks the overall black-and-red scheme, infusing a lively, playful pop into this Anime cosplay outfit. The brown teddy bear crossbody bag serves as another highlight, adding endearing childish charm.

Taking convention photos at the Jiaxing Zhigong Exhibition Center heavily tests a photographer's framing ability. Given the high foot traffic and cluttered venue background, the photographer cleverly located a wave-patterned carpeted corridor near the hotel area as our backdrop, paired with clean grey walls and minimalist picture frame lines behind to keep the composition tidy. I experimented with various poses: standing on one leg with yellow boots and a short skirt visually elongated leg proportions. The seated photo on the carpet captures a relaxed posture, gazing into the lens with a gentle smile to evoke a well-behaved demeanor. Meanwhile, the front-facing photo without a hat fully exposed the elf ears, restoring the character's signature traits faithfully.

Regarding props and details, I paid meticulous attention to the pink plaid bow and gold emblem on the cap. When wearing the hat, I adjusted its angle slightly upward to reveal my full facial contour. The black short-brim cap combined with front bangs beautifully framed my face shape. Throughout the photoshoot, I strived to maintain a quiet, natural state. Since Tanga Ibuki in Blue Archive is inherently a sensible, obedient child character, I avoided exaggerated expressions, opting mostly for gentle, slight smiles or subtly innocent looks.

The atmosphere at Jiaxing bao was vibrant; although wearing this full outfit—especially the wig and hat—felt somewhat muggy in early June weather, seeing the finished shots in the photographer's camera made every effort worthwhile. During this anime graduation season, cosplaying such a beloved character around my own graduation season served as a meaningful memory. While taking a rest after shooting, I strolled through the booth area in full outfit and footwear, chatting with a few booth owners who recognized the character, making for rich Anime convention daily life interactions.

I am deeply satisfied with these Jiaxing anime convention photos, from the translucent makeup finish to the garment tailoring proportions. The color-blocking between red cuffs and black jacket yields great saturation in frame, while yellow boots serve as an eye-catching color pop. I believe cosplay's charm lies not only in literal accuracy, but also in weaving a character's demeanor into one's own expressions and poses.
