[Tanga Ibuki cosplay] Blue Archive: A Cheeky Underclassman Day Experience

Bringing Tanga Ibuki from Blue Archive to life took considerable preparation. While the Gehenna Academy uniform looks deceptively simple, it is packed with fine details. To fully capture the school atmosphere, we chose an old-school wooden-floored classroom as our location.

The golden twin-tail wig had to be styled beforehand to ensure the straight bangs and parallel pigtails retained natural volume without falling flat against the scalp. The black peaked cap—an iconic Pandemonium Society staple—was adorned with a gold star badge, pink plaid bow, and black-and-white lace ribbons crafted individually. The slender red neck ribbon was knotted just right, while the round-frame glasses served as the soul of the look, instantly evoking a bookish, well-behaved innocence.

Props on the desk were curated with care: a vintage white alarm clock, a spiral-bound cartoon sketchbook, a yellow crayon box, and a red randoseru on the floor added everyday warmth. In the first shot, crossing my legs at the edge of the chair while holding a book elongated my silhouette while maintaining an upright posture. For the second frame, lifting the book overhead mimicked a lazy mid-class stretch. The third shot featured holding up a paintbrush toward the camera with a determined, mischievous gleam true to Ibuki's youthful spirit. With playful chalk doodles on the blackboard and natural ambient window light washing over the timber desks, this shoot was an absolute delight.
