[Arona cosplay] Blue Archive Arona at ChinaJoy: Checking In at the Booths

The energy on-site at ChinaJoy today was genuinely exhilarating! I headed straight into the expo hall specifically to visit and shoot beside that colossal purple capsule installation. To faithfully match Arona from Blue Archive, I carefully prepared this blue-and-white sailor dress paired with a soft light-blue wig, complete with the white ribbon headband and matching neck choker. The makeup focused on emphasizing limpid, crystal-clear eyes, anchoring a fresh, breezy, and adorably doll-like aesthetic. Standing before the giant installation, the venue stage lights bathed the blue-and-white fabrics in a lovely glow, producing unexpectedly striking photos.

Navigating through the expo, the flared skirt hemline and airy sleeves felt wonderfully breezy, letting me weave between booths with total ease. However, battery consumption at conventions is notoriously brutal; after a few rounds of snaps and 4K video clips, my phone battery plunged straight into the red. Right as I was stressing over finding a charging station, passing by the aigo booth led me to discover their ultra-cute aigo Sugar cube power bank. Its compact, pebble-soft rounded design struck me instantly, and its pastel blue finish matched my wig shade with uncanny perfection! I plugged in my phone to recharge and snapped a series of selfies holding it—it was so lightweight it felt weightless in hand, and the charging speed was remarkably brisk.

I bumped into so many fellow anime fans and Blue Archive players across the hall today. Everyone helped each other snap photos, swapped souvenir photo stamps, and chatted about convention tips—that organic camaraderie was deeply relaxing. Even with the dense wig fibers and slightly sweltering layers, bringing this beloved character to life in a real-world setting filled me with a sense of joy that completely washed away any physical fatigue. The photo check-ins beside the colossal installation were my absolute favorite takeaway today, and the complete aesthetic styling earned lots of praise from on-site photographers. Wrapping up that final set of selfies made the convention journey feel wonderfully complete. I eagerly look forward to wearing this outfit to more in-person gatherings in the future, and I hope everyone discovers their own slice of happiness at the con.
