[Perlica cosplay] Arknights: Endfield Perlica Booth Photoshoot Chronicle

Spent the entire day at the BW convention floor bringing Perlica from Arknights: Endfield to life, with a relentless shooting schedule from start to finish. We selected the booth area as our backdrop, framed by computer chassis, graphics cards, and geometric blue-and-black signage. This industrial tech atmosphere matched the garment's techwear aesthetic with precision.

Regarding the ensemble itself: the base layer is a crisp white sleeveless dress beneath an oversized white parka. The jacket is packed with functional details—cyan zippers, a metallic silver lining, and typography graphics along the lower hem. For the shoot, I kept it unzipped and draped casually off the shoulders, cinched at the waist with tactical black leather webbing and metallic hardware to accentuate the silhouette beneath while preserving the jacket's structured volume. Down below, Black stockings paired with block-heeled loafers streamlined leg lines under high-intensity booth lights without adding bulk during movement. On my hands, I wore yellow-and-black tactical gloves; their thick leather left faint marks after hours of wear. In my right hand, I carried her white short sword, its textured hilt lending convincing tactile weight.

Hair, makeup, and props demanded patient preparation. The wig was sculpted with precise curved flicks along the sides, cemented with hair wax and setting spray, while the left hair ornament was anchored to the wig cap with multiple bobby pins to stay put during dynamic poses. Striking blue circle lenses contrasted against the white hair, balanced by a cool-toned porcelain foundation, sharp eye contours, and a natural mauve lip so as not to distract from the wardrobe.

Navigating overhead arena downlights and glassy reflections from display cases proved challenging. The photographer positioned me against dark matte panels to pop the white outerwear. Pose one reached forward with sword extended, testing core balance to keep the heavy arm line organic. Pose two rested against the booth ledge with hands clasped over the sword hilt to let the oversized coat drape naturally. Pose three brought a tight bust crop adjusting the headset comms against creamy GPU poster bokeh, while pose four turned three-quarters to highlight the layered silhouette and legs in Black stockings. Despite the heat under the heavy jacket amidst bustling crowds, seeing the props, outfit, and industrial set align so seamlessly made the rigorous prep worthwhile for this Arknights: Endfield - Into the Abyss cosplay experience.
