[Kugimiya Ninico cosplay] VTuber's Airy Blue-and-White Twintails Portrayal

The focus for recreating this Kugimiya Ninico cosplay centered on unifying the overall color palette. The VTuber character's light blue, bright yellow, and pale pink tones showed up beautifully under convention lighting, with the pastel blue jacket and pink pleated skirt creating an especially clean visual contrast.

For hair and makeup, I opted for a dewy, translucent base paired with large-diameter blue contacts, elongating the eye shape to capture her canonical cuteness. The long wig required continuous brushing to maintain sleek twintails. The white horns on the cap, the star badge on the chest, and the fluffy white tail attached behind were key props for reinforcing the character's distinct silhouette.

We shot outdoors at the BW venue amidst heavy crowds; after conferring with the photographer, we utilized corridor shadows and the neutral concrete floor as a clean backdrop. To showcase the White tights cosplay look with black loafers, we used single-leg balance stances with arms outstretched and over-the-shoulder profile turns. These naturally elongated leg lines while allowing the loose jacket to drape organically, requiring solid core control to keep facial expressions relaxed.

Post-processing avoided blown-out highlights, gently subduing background light leaks to preserve an airy, pristine clarity true to virtual idols. The loose outerwear and pleated skirt added weightless bounce in motion. Retouching also focused on softening wig edges and fluffing the tail texture to prevent harsh cutouts, delivering a lively, cohesive set despite the bustling convention floor.
