[Unicorn Cosplay] Azur Lane Unicorn - Blissful Movement: Pure White Bridal Dress and Piano Concerto

A lot of thought went into preparing everything from makeup and hair to props for this look, 'Unicorn - Blissful Movement' from Azur Lane. Today, we finally managed to shoot in a real-scene studio, and the entire process went very smoothly. The scene setup took pure white as its primary tone, featuring a vintage white piano, staggered Roman pillars, and an abundance of white roses and baby's breath floral art, which under cool-toned ambient lighting created a remarkably clean visual unity with this long white dress.

Starting with the makeup and hair: the light purple wig was very smooth in texture. I deliberately trimmed neatly straight bangs this time and added fluffy layers to both sides, while fixing the iconic curled ahoge on top with setting spray. The headpiece's large white flower paired with black wing-shaped elements stayed as true to the original design details as possible, accented by white flower hair clips on both sides. For makeup, I opted for a natural and translucent base, paired with dark purple-black contact lenses to deepen the gaze, and used a glossy brick-red lip color to balance the distant feeling brought by the overall cool tone.

This white dress actually has many design highlights. First, the off-the-shoulder design beautifully showcases the neck and shoulder lines, complemented by a lace stand collar with translucent and glittering rhinestone textures at the neck that elevates its exquisiteness. The metallic bow pendant on the chest and the cross decorations inside the hollowed-out bows along the skirt hem further enhance the visual depth of the outfit. The combination of white gloves and white tights is also a focal point of this styling, giving off a light, gentle demeanor against the backdrop of the tulle skirt for a Sweet girl in white tights look.

Regarding prop preparation, a clean plush unicorn toy and a silver trumpet served as the soul of this look in Unicorn Cosplay. The unicorn plush features white and light purple as primary colors, with a yellow horn and pink nose making it look adorable; holding it naturally filled the frame. The trumpet was an actual metal prop, requiring careful handling regarding hand angles, while a small black ribbon was tied beside the piano music stand as a subtle contrasting accent.

During the actual shoot in the set studio, the photographer ingeniously combined subtle light from the window with indoor cool light sources. The wood grain and key textures of the white piano were crisp, and the music sheet resting across the keys enhanced the musical theme's ambiance. Since the skirt and tulle train were quite long, I needed to carefully arrange the hem when moving or standing on chairs. My condition in front of the lens was fairly natural without overly exaggerated expressions, aiming primarily to highlight the serene, healing nature of the outfit itself. The indoor Roman pillars and scattered white tulle created ample spatial depth, preventing the set from looking overly cluttered.

After wrapping up the photoshoot, we conducted a quick wrap-up. Overall, this white tulle and light purple combination was undeniably eye-catching in the final photos. Whether it was the meticulous set construction or the faithful restoration of the character's makeup and hair, fine-tuning each step proved immensely rewarding for this Azur Lane cosplay work.
