These past few days have been packed with convention schedules, rushing between various venues for shooting and promotion, keeping my mind constantly tense. It's rare that we wrapped up early today, and my bestie mentioned that Nagasakiya has been incredibly popular lately, so she dragged me along for a Japanese restaurant review.
The restaurant's environment is indeed a perfect base for post-con replenishment. The overall decor features a Japanese cherry blossom style, paired with warm atmospheric lighting, so the photos taken here look highly textured without much color grading. For 2D enthusiasts and cosplayers who often need to do outdoor shoots, a place that satisfies both your appetite and your camera is definitely worth saving.
Not only is it photogenic, but they even offer heartwarming little services like on-site photo printing, which is truly a gospel for detail-oriented people. We were even more amazed once the food was served—the skewers were grilled to perfection, the aroma of the rendering fat exploding in the mouth, juicy and not greasy at all. The sashimi platter also highlighted the excellent quality of the ingredients, and paired with refreshing side dishes, the entire dining experience was incredibly stress-relieving.
At the end of the meal, we discovered that the shop also has a free costume trial area! Now I can start planning next month's schedule; we can take great shots without even going to a studio. This beautiful discovery has successfully added a wonderful new chapter to our Cosplay daily life.
