Bringing this Luo Tianyi Xiao Luobao styling from concept to reality involved extensive preparation. To ensure buoyant volume in the skirt, I tested multiple petticoat configurations to flare the tulle's bell shape without adding cumbersome bulk that would hinder kinetic posing. Wig styling was another critical focus: the blunt bangs and signature dual buns on either side had to be anchored securely to preserve clean structure throughout rapid jumps and spins.

For the location, we selected a bamboo grove perimeter right outside Chengdu Worldline Animation and Comic Exhibition. The rich green bamboo stalks provided gorgeous chromatic contrast against this pastel yellow dress, complemented by fallen leaves and grass underfoot. Having collaborated with photographer Miaodan for a long time, we experimented with several highly dynamic stances. The jumping frame required dozens of shutter bursts; to keep my facial expression serene while capturing the widest flare of the skirt at the apex of midair suspension, I had to calibrate my breath and launch points before every leap. The daisy garter band around my thigh and the blue ankle bows shifted easily during movement, requiring re-alignment after every single take.

Shooting outdoors on convention perimeter grounds demands not only overcoming environmental constraints, but keeping constant vigilance over wardrobe condition. The bamboo undergrowth was scattered with dry leaves and twigs; balancing on one foot in platform heels across stone flagstones tested core equilibrium to the limit. For that pose reaching one hand gently forward, I had to lock my core, planting my weight firmly on the supporting leg while maintaining an elegant curve in the bent leg. The sheer outer organza was prone to snagging on bamboo shoots and branches, requiring me to inspect the hemline constantly between takes to fix snags or wrinkles immediately.

The definitive charm of Xiao Luobao lies in her refreshing, playful sweetness. For makeup, I emphasized soft gradients across the blush and eye shadow, choosing hazel contacts to evoke that authentic 2D character texture. Many fellow fans recognized the outfit on site, and crossing paths with everyone at Chengdu Worldline Animation and Comic Exhibition was a true highlight of the trip. The entire shoot went smoothly, and Miaodan's command of light, shadow, and composition gave the finished frames magnificent cinematic texture.
