This studio shoot of Kal'tsit cosplay was mainly to organize a set of pose references that can be used during usual shoots. The costume adopts a classic black-and-green contrasting Gothic style cosplay design, with a black strapless top featuring a green satin pleated bow in front, a tight waist-cinching vest around the waist, and black slight-flare long pants for the bottom, layered on the outside with a sheer black tulle skirt hem. The head accessories are extremely rich: huge black-white-yellow gradient animal ears, a black mini top hat, lace flowers, and draping black mesh, plus a black choker and a long string of black bead necklaces around the neck, giving the overall styling a very strong sense of layering. In terms of action design, because the bottom of this outfit is a combination of flare pants and a sheer tulle skirt, it makes legs look extremely long. For standing poses, you can refer to the posture of holding a black short sword, with one hand hanging naturally and the other holding the sword horizontally in front of the chest, or put one hand on the waist while the other gently touches the head accessory by the ear, utilizing the draping feel of the wide double-sided sleeve covers to increase the tension of the frame. For sitting poses, utilizing the silver metal folding chair on site, one leg can be extended naturally forward, wearing black thin-heeled strapped sandals, resting one hand on the knee with the upper body leaning forward slightly, which can not only showcase the lines of the flare pants but also faintly reveal the leg contours through the sheer skirt hem. The shooting site was decorated with irregular green artificial moss and gravel, matched with a white shadowless studio background and cold white light, making the overall atmosphere very compatible with this dark fantasy styled attire. During composition, photographer Shiyu retained a large amount of negative space, allowing the character's movements to unfold freely. In terms of shooting details, the silver cross chain in hand and the accessories hanging from the waist can serve as an extension of the action, such as gently wrapping around fingers or falling naturally by the side of the legs. The model for this work is myself, the photographer is Shiyu, and the post-processing secondary work was also done with my consent. Here I solemnly state once again: the pictures are not allowed for commercial use, not allowed to be fed to AI without consent, and no authorization will be given. Except for publication by the photographer and the model themselves, all other channels are stolen images, please respect original creations. For friends who want to shoot a similar style, it is recommended to communicate more with the photographer about the exertion points of actions before shooting, especially when wearing a tight vest, maintaining an upright posture can make the overall contour sharper. Make good use of the props at hand, even if it's just a simple hand-raising action, paired with a stern gaze, it can also well convey the character's temperament. I hope these pose references can bring you some shooting inspiration and help you find the state that suits you best during studio shooting.
