Squatting on the deep grey concrete floor of the venue in this white cleric attire of Wuthering Waves' Phoebe actually allows me to better immerse myself in the character's calmness and serenity. Because I am used to the noisy environment of anime conventions, what usually calms my mind down is looking at these story-rich costume details on myself.

The makeup and styling were prepared with great dedication this time. The long golden wavy hair took quite a bit of time to style; it needed to present a smooth yet fluffy texture, which, paired with the light-colored circle contact lenses, visually deepened the gaze. The entire dress is dominated by white, dotted with sacred blue lines and geometric decorations, while the black lace patterns on the cuffs and skirt hem make the overall layers richer. Black gloves run all the way up the arms; this high-contrast color matching is extremely eye-catching under the venue lighting.

What satisfies me the most should be that long staff in a flying bird silhouette. Its metallic texture is great, and the wings spreading at the tip carry a classical religious feel. Holding it in hand gives a great sense of weight, which not only compensates for the blank spaces in posture when standing but also stabilizes the overall character tension. Special thanks to the photographer WiFi for this shoot. We searched around the venue for a long time and finally decided to use this white plush round rug laid on the ground as a basic prop to coordinate with the industrial feel of the concrete floor. This cold, hard background forms a well-balanced contrast with the character's soft white-and-blue palette.

I quite like that seated posture in figure 1. It showcases the lower-body details of the entire outfit, including the geometric lines on the boots and the black marks on the tight white silk stockings, while carrying a casual sense of laziness. Figures 2 and 3 are standing attempts from different angles; borrowing the posture of holding the staff, they create a sort of downward gaze from the Archbishop, yet bring back a sliver of gentleness through a slightly downcast look.

Actually, conducting this kind of live shoot challenge at an anime convention comes with many difficulties, such as complex lighting and crowded spaces, but because we had professional equipment and patient composition this time, the final turned-out photos exceeded expectations. I initially worried that the combination of the hood and long hair would make the head look too heavy, but after slightly adjusting the angle, the large brim became an excellent shading tool, making the facial light and shadow look exceptionally soft. As Archbishop Phoebe, being able to recreate this character's divine temperament in reality brings a great sense of achievement. This entire outfit, from the inner layer to the outer robe, and then to the boots and metal accessories, possesses a texture at every single detail that can withstand the test of on-site lenses. I hope this sharing allows everyone to feel the magical process of cosplay from design to realization for these Convention photos.
