Sharing the first set of Beijing IDo convention photos. To be honest, walking around the convention for these two days has practically broken my legs. Arriving home today, I was basically collapsed in my chair, barely holding up to pick out this set of photos and tidy them up slightly. There are still a few photos unedited, and I genuinely didn't have the time to finish all of them, so I will update them gradually.

This set of photos was captured by the master photographer Yingdi, utilizing his latest Canon R62 body paired with the RF 28-70 F2 lens. When I received the raw prints, I was truly amazed by the lens's quality. This focal length is exceptionally practical in a crowded and noisy venue like an anime convention, beautifully balancing half-body close-ups of the character and compositions carrying a bit of the surrounding environment backdrop. The clean and sharp bokeh brought by the large F2 aperture directly filtered out the high-ceilinged industrial steel structures, gray walls, and passing convention visitors in the exhibition hall behind, making the main subject of the entire set exceptionally prominent.

The costume chosen for this shoot is the red, green, and gold color-blocking ancient-style Fox spirit cosplay styling I am wearing, whose fabric's built-in reflective texture appears highly layered under Yingdi's lighting setup. Paired with plush fox ears and a small mask prop tucked at the waist, the overall look presents a mysterious yet slightly agile atmosphere in front of the lens.

During the shoot, to make the frame more vivid, I switched among several postures and camera positions, such as sitting on that white trolley case while intentionally looking up and pointing into the empty space, or stretching my legs on the white plush rug to visually elongate my body proportions. There were also dynamic stances while standing and kneeling postures under high-angle shots, shooting repeatedly for many frames.

The temperature in Beijing on the day of the shoot was actually not low, and the air conditioning in the exhibition hall was not very supportive. Wearing this relatively thick ancient-style cosplay outfit, combined with the wig and accessories, truly tested my determination. Since I was barefoot on the plush rug, the floor actually felt a bit prickly, but for the overall cleanliness of the frame and to fit the character setting, I still refrained from wearing shoes to coordinate with the visual match of the white rug. I had to touch up my makeup several times midway to ensure that my state under the lens was fully saturated.

That being said, while the RF 28-70 F2 lens shoots absolute masterpieces, its physical weight is indeed heavy. The photography teacher carried it, running around the venue, and I also had to coordinate with various standings and scheduling; after a full day, my shoulders and waist were quite sore. However, seeing how the light precisely struck the details of the gold-embossed trim on the clothes and the red fabric in the raw prints made me feel that all this effort was well worth it. At that time, I also participated in the global subculture community event mapping program at the expo, seeing many fellow fans' carefully decorated scenes, which also taught me a lot. Although this set of photos is only Part 1, I can already feel the fulfillment of this Beijing trip. This project as a form of Anime cosplay and Baoqing Fangzhu cosplay from White Snake was indeed a highly rewarding attempt.
