This shoot features a fan-made look for Kisaki, with photography by @九九九是月 and location at Kasumi Studio. The entire styling uses pure white and light blue as the main color palette, creating a very clean visual. To match this refreshing feel, I chose a translucent soft pink tone for my makeup, paired with light-colored contact lenses to neutralize the cool tone brought by the blue hair.
The wig chosen was a deep, bright peacock blue, with bangs and layers trimmed very carefully. On my head, I wore a white hat with a strong plush texture and fluffy animal ears. Long fluffy straps hang down from both sides of the hat, ending in two large pom-poms. This material absorbs and reflects light wonderfully under studio lamps, looking delightfully soft and fuzzy. The main outfit is a sleeveless white high-neck knit bodysuit featuring a fine diamond knit texture across its surface; the ribbed high collar contracts just right to make the neck look sleeker. Although shooting in winter in this sleeveless high-neck design was a bit cold, it beautifully highlighted the lines of the shoulders and arms. The matching white plush leg warmers were worn over bare feet—the exposed skin on the thighs and calves gave the overall look a lighter feel, and the lack of tights enhanced the relaxed, cozy vibe of this cute girl cosplay look. A small plush wristlet was also worn on the wrist, adding extra sweetness to the details.
For the studio shoot, we used large softboxes as the main light source, allowing light to fall evenly from a high diagonal angle, which brought out the soft rim glow along the edges of the plush material. The backdrop was a clean light blue-gray gradient cloth that echoed the blue wig while allowing the white outfit to pop. Throughout the photoshoot, I tried different poses while seated on a white cylindrical pedestal. Since the white pedestal surface had a slightly aged texture, it added a touch of realistic detail contrast to the clean frame without making it look overly thin.
In terms of pose design, I chose to tilt sideways and lean back slightly, with one hand supporting behind me and my body's center of gravity leaning to one side. This angle beautifully showcased the cuteness of the outfit's tailoring and body contours. Since strong emotional expressions weren't needed, it focused more on presenting a tranquil and slightly cool composure, so I kept relaxed and natural micro-expressions. Photographer @九九九是月 also repeatedly adjusted lighting and composition angles to catch that perfect moment balancing facial expression and full-body lines. Stepping bare feet without shoes onto the pedestal, combined with knitwear and plush styling, truly created an illusion of warm indoor comfort.
This shoot was another attempt at handling blue wigs. Every time I wear a wig with high saturation and a vivid, single tone, I must be cautious with makeup coordination. For example, eyeshadow and blush saturation should be reduced, using warm tones of similar shade families to blend in, otherwise the face and wig easily look disconnected. Overall, this fan-made interpretation didn't strictly pursue a 100% exact replica, but incorporated some of my personal understanding—such as homey, cute girl cosplay pairings that combine soft elements like fluffy animal ears and knits. In a studio portrait photo scheme mixing large areas of white and cool tones, the final photos successfully achieved the pure, translucent texture we aimed for. Reviewing the unedited photos after the shoot, the harmony between color palette and styling is truly satisfying, making it a very pleasant endeavor.
