Picking up this folding fan with a purple base and white flowers, paired with this indoor set of Japanese-style folding screens and cherry blossom decorations, I truly feel as if I am temporarily residing in the quiet Netherworld Tower. The lighting in the studio was quite soft, which perfectly complemented the lightweight texture of this white ruffled dress. I was actually in a very relaxed state on the day of the shoot; even though I kept complaining about being hungry, I happened to have a skewer of dango in my hand, which completely integrated my "foodie" trait into the behind-the-scenes moments. Saigyouji Yuyuko's pink wig is dyed with a translucent look. Paired with these light-colored contact lenses, adjusting my gaze in front of the lens required catching that defenseless yet slightly lazy charm. As for the styling, special care was given to the shape of that iconic white triangular hat with red patterns during production, hoping it would look sharp rather than stiff on camera. During the shoot, I particularly loved using the folding fan and dango as interactive props. The angle of the fan half-covering my face makes the expressions more vivid, while the dango skewer inherently brings a relaxed, everyday feel. The wooden paper lanterns and the low Japanese-style wooden table in the studio served as the foreground, adding layers and depth of field to the image. While sorting through this set of photos, I found that many captured expressions look very natural. This perspective of sitting on the platform with my chin in my hands, deep in thought, perfectly preserves the lace details at the cuffs and the pleats of the skirt. Many characters in Touhou Gensokyo have their own unique charm, and the fan-made environment within it gives us anime cosplay enthusiasts plenty of space to interpret and present the side based on our own understanding.
