[Evanescia cosplay] The pink maiden heart in Honkai: Star Rail, this time the props fill up the set - Image 1

This time for Evanescia, everything from the wig styling to the costume details has been adjusted repeatedly. The pair of bunny ears and the red bow on top of the head were custom-patterned; to restore that fluffy yet three-dimensional texture in the game, an invisible support was added inside. The ends of the pink long hair were given a gradient treatment, and combined with that huge fluffy tail, the overall weight is indeed not light. However, the placement angle of the tail during the shoot directly determines the tension of the frame, so I was adjusting the setting almost the entire time.

In terms of props, that long-handled weapon with bells was handmade, and the patterns on it refer to the rune engravings of the original design, which feels meatier in hand than expected. The black-and-white penguin plush doll next to it was also a specifically sought-after accurate piece, which just happened to fill the composition space. The circular badges, talisman cards, and gold ribbons on the ground were all assembled by me one by one according to the game elements, used to guide the gaze during the shoot so that the frame looks rich but not messy.

This time, the lighting uses soft light plus partial rim light, aiming to highlight the softness brought by the pink theme while preserving the rigid contrast of the black leather boots and the corset on the costume. Although the composition of the lying posture looks relaxed, in order to maintain the natural flowing feel of the skirt hem and ribbons, it took a long time to spread them out repeatedly. What I enjoy most about shooting cosplay is materializing the character in my mind; I try my best to ensure every small object stays in character, and I hope everyone can feel the completeness of this frame.
