The exhibition floor at Bilibili World is always more packed than anticipated. While others attend to browse booths and trade freebies, I jokingly referred to my schedule as a stolen moment of busy work. For this convention, I cosplayed Ganyu from Genshin Impact. Among the entire ensemble, styling the wig and horns demanded the most effort—keeping the horns securely aligned amidst jostling crowds while replicating the character design took careful planning.
During the shoot, I specifically chose a high stool to best showcase the light and shadow play across the Black tights outfit and the intricate golden leg motifs. While sitting looks effortless in the photos, keeping the leg lines flattering required engaging my core muscles the entire time. The koi fish prop in my hands added great visual flair, though carrying it through crowded aisles had me worried about accidental breakage. Reviewing these Convention photos afterward, the hosiery texture looked sleek and smooth under camera strobes, while the golden accents and red cords popped vividly. Seeing the preview frames on the camera monitor made the exhausting hustle completely worthwhile. Bringing a 2D character to life in front of a photographer's lens is born purely out of passion for the character. Walking around in high heels and tights all day was undeniably tiring, yet achieving these poses and capturing favorite shots made the trip unforgettable. Aligning every detail from costume tailoring to makeup adjustments with Ganyu's blend of ethereal aloofness and gentle warmth made this Anime cosplay experience truly fulfilling.
