[Honoka Kosaka Cosplay] Love Live! All Nine Members Gathered, The First Generation's Light Never Fades

The plan to shoot this original nine-member group photoshoot set was actually settled long ago under Tuotu-laoshi's initiative. Everyone excitedly discussed costumes, hair, and props in the group chat, confirming every single step from wig colors to uniform sizes. On shooting day, we agreed to meet in the classroom; the moment we pushed open the classroom door and watched everyone gradually change into their school uniforms, that familiar sense of youth instantly rushed over us.

Since it was a large school idol group photoshoot for nine people, how to shoot everyone neatly yet recognizably put photographer Xiaojing-laoshi's composition to the test. The first set of scenes we shot was gathered around the long classroom table, simulating an after-class scenario. Some held color palettes, some held whiteboards written with welcome messages, and others held chalk, smiling brightly toward the camera. Although everyone was girls and felt particularly at ease during shooting, aligning the standing positions and line-of-sight coordination for nine people required rehearsing many times to achieve the staggered, well-balanced look requested by Xiaojing-laoshi.

To reflect our cohesion as a club, we also shot a scene where everyone circled round with hands stacked on top of each other. When everyone's hands truly overlapped to create that highly iconic overhead look, there was no need for a script or forced emotionalism—that miraculous magnetic field of shared hearts among fans was already enough to touch people. When handling color grading in post-processing, Yingsu specifically preserved the bright blue sky and white clouds outside the window as well as the warm wooden structures inside the classroom, making the entire set look closer to the original work's fresh and lively atmosphere.

I was responsible for the role of Honoka Kosaka cosplay, tying my hair into an orange side ponytail, changing into that bright yellow knit vest, white shirt, and blue-and-red plaid pleated skirt, then tying the matching blue ribbon tie. Ten years ago, when I was curled up alone in my room watching the anime, seeing them run under the sunshine and strive to save their school, I could feel that burning heat right through the screen. Back then, I thought how blessed it would be if I could stand shoulder to shoulder with such a group of companions who shared a common dream.

And ten years later today, under Tuotu-laoshi's organization, this \"if only I could\" genuinely became reality. The Minami Kotori cosplay done by Tianzai remained gentle; Ahua-er's Sonoda Umi cosplay carried that signature earnestness; along with Maki, Rin-nyan, Hanayo, Nico, Nozomi, and Eli, every single person's styling achieved high fidelity in details. Hair accessory colors, ribbon ties of different styles and colors, and even black over-the-knee socks and uniform shoes—we matched original character traits as closely as possible. This dedication to detail is also our respect as cosplayers toward the work we love.

We tried different positional combinations in the classroom, from photos holding chalk before the blackboard writing everyone's names, to vivid snapshots capturing each person's individual interactions. Because of the large group, the props during shooting were particularly rich: pink plush hearts, microphones, and blue shoulder bags were all used by us as interactive props. During shooting, everyone frequently burst into laughter over someone's small mistake or funny positioning; this relaxed, enjoyable, pressure-free atmosphere is precisely the most precious aspect of a group photoshoot set.

When our hearts are linked as one, that emotion is carried forward. Perhaps this is the concrete realization of dreams shining into reality. This photoset is a commemoration of youth and a perfect closure to that time spent following the anime. To be able to fulfill a wish under the same blue sky together with a group of people who genuinely love the same work—this is the exact meaning cosplay bestows upon us.
