[Ganyu Cosplay] Genshin Impact Ganyu's Blue Hair Convention Photos

The authenticity of a costume lies not only in visual resemblance, but even more in the synergy of demeanor and temperament. In recreating Genshin Impact's Ganyu Cosplay this time, hair details were treated as the top priority. The blue hair strands were styled into a high ponytail with two cascading locks, while the small bun atop the head and the red dragon horn accents recreated the character's iconic traits one by one. For eye makeup, subtle shimmer purplish-red contact lenses were selected, paired with a reddish blush under the eyes, preserving a maidenlike charm while revealing the cool detachment and mystery unique to Ganyu cosplay.

The intricate costume details are equally worthy of elaboration. The giant golden bell hanging from the neck and the silver-white high-collared neckpiece serve as the visual centerpiece of the entire look. The sleeve covers feature a detachable design, where large areas of silver-grey dark patterns are spliced with blue sleeve cuffs, with holographic reflective strips embedded along the edges scattering colorful hues under the dim ambient lighting of the anime convention. To restore the character's aura, finding the appropriate Blue wig color and red highlights involved multiple attempts at trimming and styling. Additionally, to ensure a clear and spirited gaze, the reddish blush around the eyes and lip color coordination needed to match cool-toned skin precisely, so skin tone uniformity was intentionally adjusted during base makeup.

The location for this shoot was beside the glass curtain wall of the anime convention, where natural light mixed with indoor overhead lamps formed a cool-toned baseline. Photographer Geziyue captured the character's spirit with precision. The orb prop initially slipped; to make it easier to hold, I coordinated with the photographer to make fine adjustments to angles under the lights to avoid breaking character, and the final white matte effect turned out very faithful. Although the white orb prop once partially obscured the lower hem, holding it in hand while doing gestures like clasping hands or holding the orb with one hand unexpectedly added a dynamic and playful charm.

Putting on this outfit was quite intricate—especially securing the detachable sleeve covers and neck bell, where checking everything once took a considerable amount of time. But seeing the final photos, no matter how cumbersome it was, felt entirely worth it. Although the convention venue was bustling with crowds, we managed to find a relatively quiet corner to capture this set of serene photos. Combined with post-processing falling snow special effects, these photos created a mysterious and dreamy atmosphere suited to the character. This collaboration was very smooth; composition and lighting control aligned perfectly with Ganyu cosplay traits. All in all, this set of Ganyu Cosplay Convention photos with blue hair, red horns, and a snowy atmosphere fully records my understanding and love for the character.
