Coming to the Arknights: Endfield Open Beta Joint Commission Themed pop-up as Perlica was a truly unique photoshoot experience. Let's dive straight into the details of the outfit and the shoot. The tailoring of this white dress is crisp and clean, but the biggest highlight lies in the intricate belts and armor design. Putting it on required considerable time to adjust the metal buckles and dangling straps to ensure the armor pieces wouldn't shift during movement. The off-the-shoulder jacket paired with Black stockings preserved the character's agile lightness while bringing out a sharp, form-fitting combat readiness. Significant effort went into styling the animal-eared wig—the height of the bangs and the fluffy texture on both sides truly tested styling techniques, producing ideal results under the venue's cool lighting. While the prop sword looks lightweight, holding it for an extended period left my hand aching, especially when holding it aloft for poses, requiring finding the center of gravity to keep it steady.
The massive screen backdrop at the venue was incredibly photogenic; its minimalist yellow-and-white linear design provided a stunning contrast with the cool-toned palette, making the white portions of the costume appear luminous. For the poses, I mainly held the sword in one hand with my body tilted slightly sideways, letting the fluttering skirt echo the dynamic visuals on the screen behind me. Because it was a Themed pop-up event with heavy foot traffic, we had to seize brief windows of opportunity to capture shots quickly. Heartfelt thanks to the photographer for offering timely snapshot tips whenever my sword grip wobbled. Moving around the scene, the crowd's excitement for the Arknights: Endfield Open Beta was palpable, and the classic combination of the white coat and Black stockings was comfortable to walk in.
In post-processing, the main focus was restoring the layered depth of the background lighting while preserving natural skin textures without over-filtering. This clean, tech-infused setting made the entire photoshoot proceed smoothly. Experiencing the Joint Commission set up close—from the yellow ground light strips to the overhead screen visuals—was visually striking. Dressed in full gear standing there felt like truly stepping into the game world. During a break, I carefully examined the hem stitching and belt textures, which faithfully matched the original design. The prop details were also on point, with clear textures on the hilt. Although putting on the costume was somewhat intricate, presenting all these details in front of the lens made every bit of effort worthwhile. Reviewing the venue after wrapping up, this fusion of virtual game aesthetics and physical exhibition booths reminiscent of an Offline anime convention worked brilliantly, greatly elevating the character's overall aura.
