This shoot mainly aimed to highlight The Dahlia's languid yet dangerous charm. We chose a deep purple antique sofa as the backdrop, combined with cool purple ambient lighting, which immediately brought out the atmosphere. When shooting the pose in the second photo, the key point was for The Dahlia to lie back in complete relaxation, leaning her weight onto me behind her, so that her legs could stretch out in the most natural posture. To add a bit more allure to the visual, we specifically chose purple stockings (Purple pantyhose) paired with high heels to elongate the leg lines. Along with her pose, the contours of her neck and chest were also beautifully showcased. Behind her, I was just as active—holding her head with one hand while steadying the massive hat brim with the other, tilting my head slightly down to look down with a gaze that felt both sovereign and subtly indulgent. The texture of these costumes was truly wonderful; the white hat and pearl adornments created a great visual contrast with The Dahlia's purple lace straps. For makeup, we meticulously crafted a heterochromia effect, paying particular attention to the contact lenses and the shading under the eyes to make it look even closer to the game's mysterious character designs. The shooting process was actually quite a workout; holding this pose severely tested core strength. My back remained straight the whole time while controlling facial expressions, and my feet went numb. But seeing the final results made everything worthwhile. My partner, Mint Blue, had incredible expressive presence—she quickly grasped the languid yet bewitching posture I envisioned, making it a flawless collaboration. We also put great effort into the lighting setup: besides the key light, purple fill lights were added to the side to give the stockings on her legs and the fabric textures greater three-dimensionality. This interactive interplay under light and shadow perfectly matched the dark, mysterious vibe we wanted. The combination of black and purple, along with the drape of the large hat and the specific leg poses, perfectly presented the visual tension of this duo. Although my whole body ached after wrapping up, achieving such refined visual sophistication in this creative work made it deeply satisfying.
