[Jeanne d'Arc (Alter) cosplay] A Hint of Drunkenness in Front of the Holy Night Bar

A lot of effort went into this Drunken Jalter outfit, from initial conception to the final photoshoot. In particular, the textured purple-black mask and the silver-white wig took several versions of adjustments to find the state that fit the character best.

The shooting location chosen this time was a bar with an amazing ambiance, where brown leather chairs and warm-toned lighting perfectly fit the theme of "Holy Night Dinner." The bar stools and wooden counter in the scene were rich in texture, creating a wonderful chemical reaction with the character's glamorous yet slightly languid vibe.

The outfit itself boasts numerous details. The dark purple off-the-shoulder dress is trimmed with black lace at the neckline, paired with matching long gloves and purple pantyhose, making the overall color scheme unified and high-end. The mask and the star-diamond bow tie at the neck served as the finishing touches, making the whole look even more magnificent. Because I needed to balance sexiness and elegance, the fit of the dress and gloves was truly crucial; arm movements had to look natural without too many tight creases after putting them on, and fortunately, the final effect met expectations.

For props, I used a wine glass filled with food coloring and water to better recreate that tipsy banquet atmosphere while ensuring absolute safety during shooting. During the shoot, I tried different sitting and reclining postures, holding the glass or making playful pointing gestures—all coordinating with the photographer to try and capture her charm: calm, composed, yet with a touch of tsundere and allure.

The photographer's lighting setup was particularly exquisite this time. The warm ambient light formed a striking warm-and-cool contrast with my fair skin, making the purple-black outfit and silver-white hair appear even richer in texture. For Cosplay photography, light and shadow can truly grant a character a second life. The light and shadow layers in the final photos turned out extremely comfortable, with neither overexposure nor crushed blacks, preserving the details of both props and attire wonderfully.

Every cosplay shoot feels like a brief immersive experience, throwing oneself completely into the established scenario to feel the character's emotions and appearance. This attempt at Drunken Jalter serves as a special record for this character, and I hope to convey her unique mature-sister charm through these images.
