[Remilia Cosplay] Mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion in Touhou Project, A Vampire's Feeding Time

This photoshoot features a Remilia cosplay with battle-damaged and sickly elements. As the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion in Touhou Project, I didn't go for a gorgeous and dignified route this time, but instead attempted an atmospheric look closer to a "vampire feeding" state. Light blue layered short hair paired with special red contact lenses, along with extensive reddish blushing around the eyes and bloodstains at the corners of the mouth, visually emphasized a sense of weakness and danger. The headpiece utilized multi-layered white lace ruffles matched with a long red ribbon featuring frayed edge-damage effects, echoing the red of the nails. Regarding clothing, I specifically selected a distressed patchwork-style lace top with mottled patterns resembling dried bloodstains, while slender neck cords added casual detail. We didn't use overly complex lighting during shooting, relying mainly on natural light to highlight pale skin and makeup layering. Nails were painted vibrant red, consistent with the overall bloody elements throughout. As the Night Queen of Scarlet Devil Mansion feeds at night, this styling carrying a sense of decayed aesthetics heavily tests expression control, requiring an effortless portrayal of bloodlust mixed with trance-like intoxication. Compared to refined elegance, sometimes this imperfect realism aligns better with a vampire's true essence. The wig for this set was trimmed with many layers, its textured edges just covering part of the eyes to build a dreamy effect. The focus of the makeup lay in the eye shadow blending range and the distribution of mouth bloodstains, making them look like authentic blood traces rather than drawn lines. For props, the red ribbon served as a finishing touch, adding dynamic flow to a static frame. Color-wise, blue, white, and red formed a stark contrast, while the distressed fabric texture enhanced the storytelling of the image. The temperature on shooting day was pleasant, so the off-shoulder outfit design didn't feel awkward. I am very satisfied with the final result, which brought out the complex vampire aura—both elegant and dangerous, frail yet wild. I hope everyone can appreciate the subtle ideas and care put into this styling.
