### Recreating Koishi: A Tale of Two Outfits

Trying on two sets of Komeiji Koishi cosplay outfits, which perfectly makes for double the happiness. The outfit on the left features a dark green skirt paired with a white lace top. The knot decorations at the collar and waist restore elements from the character's setting. The blue and white flowers on the wide-brimmed hat echo the wig color, giving the overall tone a mature, grounded look. Once the black lace arm sleeves are added, a beautiful sense of layering emerges as a classic Lolita outfit.

The outfit on the right is what I'm preparing to wear for tomorrow's ANE convention. The main color palette consists of yellow-green and black layered ruffles. A large amount of tulle and pleats make the whole dress look exceptionally fluffy and lightweight. Paired with black tights featuring hollowed-out polka dots and platform Mary Janes, it offers a more playful visual vibe. For props, I held a wand adorned with flowers. Combined with hand-drawn purple heart trails, it serves to make up for the regret of not being able to bring her closed third eye.

### Texture and Fitting Adjustments

In fact, the fabrics of both outfits are quite exquisite; the left one leans toward a velvet texture with a nice drape, while the right one features a patchwork of mesh and satin, allowing the skirt hem to flutter naturally when walking. The wig is a light grayish-white, trimmed with layers so it doesn't feel heavy even when wearing the hat. During the try-on process, I found that the elastic waist and the cinched cuffs fit perfectly, delivering a great effect without needing too many adjustments. Since I'll be wearing the right one tomorrow, I carefully checked all the accessories today, including the necklace, brooch, and small details on the socks, making sure nothing was missed.

The character Komeiji Koishi itself carries a mysterious yet lively temperament within Touhou Project. Enhanced by the color coordination of the costume and the props, even casual photo-taking for 2D daily life can carry a strong sense of atmosphere. This time, I tried different styling ideas—the left leaning toward elegant retro and the right toward sweet gothic. I really love both styles for this Touhou cosplay.
